  1. Double Colorado Double Willowleaf Tandem: Colorado/Willowleaf or Indiana @Bdnoble84 is pretty dead on. Head design, wire diameter, length of the wire from the head to the line tie, length of the wire from the line tie to the swivel. Then we can get into blade size, blade thickness, blade cup, distance between blades. Personally I think a Tandem maybe slightly easier. 🤔
  2. If that were true why is a Jig-n-Craw so deadly?
  3. Comes in 1/8, 1/4, & 3/8 with a 3/0, 4/0, or 5/0 hook. Swim it, drag it, flip-n-pitch it.
  4. Sounds like someone brought a technique over from his Crappie fishing.
  5. @casts_by_fly its good with light Texas Rigs. Back to the OP
  6. Agreed but I think it has more to do with being Moderate Fast. I didn't get all that out of the HD.

Seriously y'all need to look at Santone Lures Rayburn Swim Jigs. There are 3 different jigs from a finesse to Chis McCall's, to a Siwash. All 3 have different size hooks, awesome colors, & high quality components. Trailers vary depending on what I'm trying to accomplish.
  10. @slonezp no sir but there's a serious problem in our society that I can’t discuss here without getting banded. Addison has been found! Thank our God above she is alive. Thank you so much all of the prayers, text, & calls. I will keep everyone updated.

  13. Since I figured out how good bass fishing is during winter I quit hunting. I do however target shoot rifles, pistols, & shotguns. Currently looking at a Shiloh 1874 Montana Roughrider.
  14. @JackstrawIII This is what's gaining popularity down here. Primitive Firearms – Single shot, breech loading rifles, (.38 caliber or larger) of a kind or type manufactured prior to 1900 and replicas, reproductions or reintroductions of that type rifle having an exposed hammer that use metallic cartridges loaded either with black powder or modern smokeless powder.
  15. I've used a Ithaca Model 37® Featherlight® with a Deerslayer® barrel. The distances down along the coast are ideal for archery.

  17. IDK 😉 Lots of my trips are spur of the moment. I have one trip planned for the March full moon on the Big Pond.
  18. For me its all about the plastic! I like em all, every shape, every color, every length. I like em winter, spring, summer, & fall. Morning, noon, or night. Texas Rig, behind a jig, Carolina Rig, Wacky Rig, Neko Rig, Ned Rig (working on it), flipping-n-pitching-n-punching, whatever. Plastics is my confidence lure 😉

  20. Only one I use 😉 Even carved Thanksgiving turkey with it.
  21. I have both tied on 24/7/365, after fishing an area with one I will go back over it with the other. Rod is personal preference, mine are Medium Heavy X-Fast.
  22. Don't think the size is a problem, proper maintenance is.
