Breakable Split Rings
I've considered buying them a few times but haven't. I could definitely see using them with swimbaits.

Breakable Split Rings
They make them. Check out Ultimate Smart Link Titanium Split Rings. TW sells them.

Yeah, just like a ham sandwich.

Tatula Spinning: Ported?
That's the design of the reel seat, it's exclusive to Daiwa. All of the Tatula and new Zillion seats are like that. I'm sure it's for weight reduction as the seat is wider than standard reel seats and it gets covered by the hood.

Most Effective " New To You" Lures In 2014
I became a big fan of the swinging jighead and DUO Realis baits this year. Had good success with both.

Rc Squarebills?
The LC RC's were discontinued a couple of years ago but Lucky Craft still sells the same baits under a different name. To me, the Lucky Craft RC's (now Lucky Craft LC and RTO) are the sq bills that all others are measured up against. You will be hard pressed to find a better sq bill.

Dirty Water Worm Fishing
I will sometimes add a bead and brass clacker between my weight and hook to add some sound. Think C-rig without the swivel.

Crankbaits! Can You Fully Effective With Only One Brand?
They don't just use one brand.

Crankbaits! Can You Fully Effective With Only One Brand?
Yeah, you could do that. I could cover every bit of my hardbait fishing with Lucky Craft baits that I already own. Topwater down to deep divers and everything in between. I'm sure people could do the same with Strike King. That would take some of the fun out of it for me though.

Daiwa Zillion 9.1
Speak for yourself. I would say you would be a more thorough and efficient fisherman because you could effectively cover more water with more casts in less time.

Jerkbait Question
None of them will suspend perfectly in all water temps. You can use suspend dots or change the size of the hooks to alter how the bait rests in the water. Some people will also add split rings to the existing hooks to increase the weight enough to get the bait to suspend.

Split Ring Pliers
Get these and you will never buy another brand split ring pliers again, best on the market.

Maxing Out Reels?
The line numbers on reels are more about line capacity than actual recommendations or limits on lb test.

Fd's 6Th Annual Fishmas Exchange Loot Thread
I opened mine up today. Big thanks to deaknh03!! He really hooked me up with great stuff that I will use. I got 3 ZooX swimjigs, a H20 hard shad swimbait, a Reaction Strike Revolution Frog, a Kinami lipless crank, a XCalibur XW6 wake bait, a Sebile ACast Minnow and a pack of Rage Tail Anacondas. I will try to get a pic up tomorrow. Thanks Derrick, I really appreciate it!

Methods For Cleaning Tackle?
I don't have any "greasy or gooey" lures, nor have I ever cleaned a lure but I like Simple Green for general cleaning.

Rod Action For Jigging Spoons
I don't fish spoons a lot but I would imagine that a big heavy spoon would be easy for a bass to throw, relatively speaking. I know a lot of guys use double split rings at the hook to help with this. I would also think a slower action would help keep steady pressure on a hooked fish.

Gonna Try Something Other Than Braid Haha
If you've been strictly fishing braid for awhile, everything is probably going to feel stretchy until you get used to it.

Gonna Try Something Other Than Braid Haha
Good luck with it, maybe it won't be too bad. Hopefully your reel has enough capacity for 20 lb.

I've never used C21 so I can't say how the memory is. Generally 20 lb is going to have quite a bit though. Just don't give up on copoly based on your experiences with 20 lb. It gets much more manageable as you go down in size. I like Pline CX and always had good luck with 12 lb. It handles well and is plenty strong.

It Got Ugly Today In Dallas
There are no Thursday games next week. I'm hoping Dallas sits all their starters next week. Players need time to heal and rest before the playoffs start, no shame in that. Besides, who did Indy sit besides Hilton? They pulled Luck because he was ineffective and the game was already out of hand.

20 lb? That seems awfully heavy for swim jigs. Make sure you use some KVD on it, memory will probably be a bear.
