Good lord, man. That must've been awful. I've passed two in my lifetime, last one was I think 2 years back. Throwing up, nausea, doubled-over in pain, finally passed it when my wife got me to the ER (or as they say now, ED for Emergency Department). Mine were not as big as yours, so I can't imagine passing them.

Was quite hazy here on the VA Peninsula yesterday and this morning. There was some wind and rain (light) that came thru this afternoon making things smell less like a campfire. Tho, I do enjoy the smell of a campfire. I just hope our great neighbors to the north can get these fires under control, eh? They're calling for help, I've read, as their firefighters have reached their limits. Best of luck to them, and may some drenching rain come their way to quench the fires' thirst.

Welcome aboard! Nice bass you got there. Best way to break in a new rod is with a strong bend from a stout bass .

Welcome aboard, @Ol'Kev! I happen to be a big fan of shorter rods...for about everything. 5'9 - 6'3". Wacky, TX, spinnerbaits, cranks, etc. I prefer to use them over longer rods. Just my preference.
