Jighead paint chipping what to do
I was going to suggest the same thing. I pour my own and powder paint, but after the jig is assembled and I want to touch up, I use a colored nail polish & then a clear coat nail polish if the jig looks THAT bad. Good suggestion another sitepa.

Is that a 1/2 oz head? Seems like it would roll over on anything smaller?

Randy Moss Interview
Kind of a strange interview after yesterday's game. I'm guessing Viking fans can't be happy about listening to that one?

Miami "All-Star" Heat 0-1
It was a weird game to say the least. The Celtics let the Heat back into the game, IMO, but good teams like the Heat will always find a way to get back into it by game's end. I actually thought the Heat were going to win when they cut the lead to 3 and had momentum. When Ray Allen delivered a 3 point dagger, it pretty much sealed the deal. Should be a fun season.

Rabbit fur jigs
May I recommend sticking to cotton or cotton blend? Unless of course you are holding some sort of country-disco concert, in which case the flashabou might work as fringe lining your sleeves and shoulder reinforcements. Seriously though, your jig looked well done. I use bucktail in the cold for smallies, but haven't tried the rabbit. Maybe I should give it a whirl. ROFL Just showing my age. My daughter picked out the materials. She says my hairy legs "accentuates" the outfit...LOL Seriously though, thanks for the compliment. I'll have to give the bucktail a try. Thanks for the tip.

QUARTERBACK ISSUES ???????
Or maybe in Green Bay when he threw the OT pick against the Giants. He had an incredible season last year. He clearly still had the mojo last year. The season-ending INT against New Orleans was the dagger in my opinion. Totally agree about last year. He also had good last year in Green Bay...The end results were identical.

Any electricians out there?
Hey guys, Just wanted to let you know that I was able to hook up the switch and ceiling fan today. I ended up adding 2 more outlets and a switched dimmer instead of a regular switch. All is working great. Thank you so much for your input and help! I have another question about electrical coming up in about a week or so, so PLEASE help if you can. Again, thank you very much.

Fishing Before/During/After rain?
In my experience, my better days are exactly like what your going into: Expected rain which means a dropping pressure. I find the fish are more active at this time than, say, during the rain. During the rain, I find the fish are tucked in somewhere and are not very active. Once the rain passes, then the fish seem to become active again, especially during the time when the clouds are clearing up. Again, that's what works for me more often than not. I've had days (not many) where the fish were active throughout, so who knows. I know a lot of people in this forum swear by great results during the rain and I'm jealous, because I really like fishing in the rain, especially on a hot day. JMHO Good luck out there, if you do end up going fishing.

Buzzbait weight
Depends on the day, but I like a 1/4 oz for a slow presentation. If the bass aren't hitting that I'll go to a 1/2 oz and speed it up. Basically, let the fish tell you how they want the presentation. Buzzbaits, IMHO, are a hit and miss lure, meaning the bass either want it or they don't. I'll make 2 cast maximum to the same spot, if no bites or a boil, then it's time to change up or go to another spot.

Rabbit fur jigs
I used this one last spring/early summer and had success with it on LMB: I didn't like the rabbit fur skirt, so I opted for the silicone skirt. I'm thinking of making a shirt with flashabou and krystal flash in lieu of the silicone on some new jigs I'll be building. My thinking is, the flashabou and krystal flash will have more and better color possibilities. The one above uses a chenille body as well as the rabbit fur and silicone skirt. After reading this thread, I'm going to tie it on again this fall.

What is going on in the world?
I'm really sorry to hear about that, Tin. News of people passing due to illness is one thing, but when people are passing due to suicide, it's a totally different issue. Especially when the suicides are from a lot of people you know. That's gotta be tough on you. My heart goes out to you and the families who are dealing/dealt with this issue.
