  1. They are, but being in an area less than 40ish square feet or less, 22' into the earth is not - in 12poundbass' lexicon - my can of Miller Lite. Capice?
  2. Wow! I'm not sure I would want to be in a trench box that far down, especially in what OSHA would consider confined space. Sorry, to dicey for this guy!
  3. Are you working in Boston?
  4. Really love seeing some of the old/past members in those threads though.
  5. Where's @Log Catcher when you need him...
  6. Good luck buddy! What univ you working at?
  7. Understand your dilemma @Catt, I've never had much fun fishing windy days. I'd rather go to the dentist for crown work.
  8. Wus? I guess the wus wuz a good speller. Sorry, couldn't resist.
  9. I'm soooo guilty for not wearing a tether to kill the outboard...This post just may be the wake up call for me...Thanks @gimruis
  10. You're killing me, man.
  11. Can't agree more, 3 times a week, I do core workouts with weights and bodyweight. Strength, mobility and stretching. Can never get enough of it. I had issues with my knee and the doc was convinced that I had a torn meniscus but it wouldn't show up on an MRI. All the while my deductible bills were piling up, he suggested a scope procedure. It was bad enough that I had to take a small loan to pay my deductible, so I opted for self rehab after some professional consultation. Never had any pain since. Great advice A-Jay. It's amazing what the body can do if you put it in a position to succeed. Favorable outcomes will be your return on time investment.
  12. I thought "CastsInTrees" was your real name? BTW: My real name is CarolinaRigComesUpEmpty. I've never caught a bass using: Carolina Rig
  13. I take it the ned rig is right up there with the carolina rig for you?
  14. A little "white lie" usually never hurts anyone, buddy. Your secret is safe with me. I'm sure no one is reading that last post.
  15. Well written...I only wish it were that easy every day...
  16. You gotta be a true Fletch fan to be able to recite that scene...or at least a good cut & paste artist.
  17. Why not just follow the boats motor recommendation?
  18. Daiwa CH80. Very impressed with such an economical reel. I have a couple that survived a saltwater season. Cleaned them out and it looked like they weren't even exposed the the salty environment.
  19. Hopefully many more on this DIY's! Congrats on your catch. Looks like a real jig type oinker for sure! He'll be in the 12 step program with us Jig Man ...
  20. Aren't you a Deleted Acct downer this morning? And what's wrong with buying a screwdriver and going around looking to screw something? Wait, that didn't come out right.
  21. The only shark I had was Mako and really like it. Blackened was my favorite way to prepare it. I guess dog fish are used for Fish and Chips in England, from what I've read. I catch my fair share of them, but never thought to take one.
  22. If there's a skunk feature I just may buy it off you.
  23. I have a good wife as well, she keeps me in a deficit year round. Just makes you want to go to work for some reason.
  24. I went fishing one February morning and wound up with a spinnerbait tied on. It skipped the surface like a flat pebble on glass like water surface. Must have gotten 3-4 skips. Then I realized that the water was still frozen. Answer to your question is no.
  25. It’s going to be gorgeous the next couple of days then the rains come in on Tuesday. Just planted grass yesterday so the timing for rain is perfect! Sorry to hear that @A-Jay, you must be chomping at the bit by now.
