  1. I'm picking the boat up this weekend and I'm hearing that schoolie stripers are in some of the inlets and rivers. Hoping to get the mooring situated early so I can go chase a few of the striped variety.
  2. That can't be overstated! At least for me, dehydration was a problem.
  3. Looking like she's coming along great! Nice...
  4. You can only buy em by the box cars full
  5. Looks like an albino species...kind camouflages into the background.
  6. Well, I guess it's better than your previous rank a few posts ago when you were a dink? Don't get me wrong, dinks have their place. I mean, I hear many have started families. I don't think there are dink families tho. Usually, dinks just hang out with a couple of nuts. So I guess, being known as a short fish is better than being known as a short dink, right?
  7. Welcome to the varsity team...just getting through it as we speak. Get well soon.
  8. Agree. You can use a BIC pen and curl the blade tips more or just slightly straighten the blade tips out to make a buzzbait speed up or slow down Thanks Zell Rowland
  9. ?
  10. No worries, we're considerably mild in comparison to those who are/have been hospitalized.
  11. Whoa buddy, not sure how I missed this one. Glad you’re ok and you still can count five digits like @Way north bass guy mentions above. Speedy recovery bud.
  12. How much for the beer? I'd give up a body part right now for one! Let me, clarify. A body part on either the right or left side of my body.
  13. Various outdoor sports ... sorry, my bad
  14. I'm assuming the guy on the left in green is dad?
  15. Yes. Matter of fact just recently ... like yesterday, recently ... we had positives on 20K HS athletes and 5K staff members.
  16. LOL! I had a feeling you were. How ya been my friend! Hope you're catching them more than ever! Miss ya Mr. T! Agree. I know some folks on round 3. Just a false hope on my part that I was immune to it. Well, it WAS a good thought, wasn't it?
  17. I made the COVID varsity team. My son got it at a state track meet. He gave it to my daughter a couple days later. My wife and I both tested positive on Thursday. We've all had 2 shots and a booster. I guess we let our guard down on this latest wave. Stay healthy my friends.

Always did well with these: Sorry for the old pic. These are still in my tool kit.
  19. Oh man, that's a heart breaker! My condolences buddy.
  20. I guess look at it this way: A 9 y/o won't have much of an attention span when it comes to fishing unless it's one of those magical, every cast a fish day happens. If he loves fishing then: I'd go 6'0 for a 9 y/o and then use the specification @MickD outlined. He'll enjoy fishing a smaller rod. If he likes fishing, but will last for like an hour before he wants to do something else, then: I'd go 6'6 for a 9 y/o and then use the specification @MickD outlined. He'll get some more years out of it while he grows.
  21. Yup, any time you break a section of the rod itself you'll notice a compromise. You did the right thing by sending a new rod. Be sure you post your black eye when he sees you next...
  22. There are those days when I casually swing and miss then on the next one I have to make sure I swuig hard enough. Just embarrassing when you swing hard enough and a small fish comes flying out of the water at your head. Sadly, yes, that's also happened more often than not.
  23. Having a lazy blade on the arm isn't exactly the end of the world, in fact, I like how it resembles an injured baitfish IMO.
  24. Wish I had advice for ya buddy, but that one's a bit of a sticky wicket. Always tough when there's a generational thing going on. If it's anything like my dad and I, we usually find medium ground. Hope it works out for ya.
