How do you store your plastics
Same as Toxic, plastics are in Plano 3600 boxes, out of the pacs, and each box is dedicated to a bait, Senkos, other worms, creatures, tubes, floating worms, shad, etc. Although I have several boxes, I only carry eight at a time on the boat in an old gym bag and the eight varies based on the season, frogs, lizards, etc. Each box is labeled on the top edge for easy identification. Makes no difference how old they are, all are as good as new when I pull them out.

advice on taking new fisher women out
I am with AJay, keep it simple, simple, simple with any worm Texas rigged, or you will spend all day with treble hooks hung up in something and no one will have fun.

Shimano Chronarch MGL 150
If it is new and you can handle it, you can remove the spool bearings, clean them and apply a tiny drop of quality reel oil. If you are not comfortable with opening it , leave it alone. It comes out of the box well lubricated by Shimano. At the end of your fishing year send to a reel service like DVT on this site and he will do what is needed to last you another year. Again, if you are unsure of how to get inside...leave it alone and it will be fine for a year.

Recommend specific rig for weightless floating worm?
My floating worms go out on a medium spinning rod, 3/0 hook and 8lb mono. Mostly bubble gum in the heat of summer. Works great on the tidal Potomac beds and their edges.

200b
I still have two Curado 100B's and they are doing fine. 12 years old and fish like new. I had three and final caved and sold one to a friend.

Line for new ML and M Spinning
I have, and have always had, 8lb mono on all four of my spinning rods. It works fine so never changed.

Spooling line
How about this procedure: tie line to trailer hitch on truck, leave wife/friend holding new line spool, drive truck for 100 yds, cut line from trailer hitch and lay on ground, drive truck back to wife, have wife /friend run to end on ground where you cut from hitch, you mount line on to reel, wife/friend grips other end firmly, you reel line onto reel with wife/friend holding tight to other end. Nice tight line on the reel and no line twist.?

Carbonlite 2.0 for jigs, Texas rigs, chatterbaits, and spinnerbaits
I have many Carbonlites, older and the 2.0 and I have stuck with fast tips to give me what I want in performance. Mine are a mix of 6'6" MH fast tips, 7' MH fast tips, 7' med fast tips and 7' med and one 7'2" spinning fast tip rods.. Lovin' those rods for Potomac fishing.

Boat batteries
I over did it, but use an Interstate size 27, 850CCA amps and 1000MCA to start my Yammie 60 hp and run two sonars (a 5" with GPS, etc. and a 7" with down scan) and pumps. My 12V TM is a 55lb digital 10 speed MG and I bought a size 28 Deka, which, as I recall is 550CCA and 200 minutes reserve, which I charge immediately after leaving the water on a 10amp automatic charger. I can stand on the TM for six or more hours (tidal fishing) and never come close to draining my TM battery. The average of the TM for the day is probability a "5". The boat is a 17'6" G3.

Line recommendation for jig fishing
I use 15lb Invizx for jig and pig and swim jigs and 17lb XL for chatter baits.

Winn Grip Reel Sleeves
Not on my reels, but if they are anything like the Winn gripes on the new Carbonlite 2.0 rods they should be pretty nice. Holy cow, are they ever nice?

Bass Pro Shops Pro Qualifier 2 Reel
Like you I had a PQ for three years and it was a flawless little reel (it got traded in for $50 on a Chronarch MGL with gift cards), but don't know why the new models would not be as nice. Someone on here will have a new one to comment. Ewin Evers never seems to have any trouble with his as he is fishing MLF, or elsewhere?

How much should I spend on crank bait/ treble hook rod
I do not have one, but I have only read good comments on various sites on how the BPS cranking stick is really liked by those who fish them.

2 Piece Rod Question
Fifteen years ago I bought a 6'6" 2-piece Cabelas Tourney to take to Florida on vacation. I fished the daylights out of that MH rod along with my regular rods and I may be brain dead (don't ask my wife), but I could not tell the difference in that rod and my one piece rods. My grandson has it now and uses it all the time for bass. As I look back on that rod it amazed me at how light it was for that time. Even though it was a MH it fished like a medium and was a great top water rod.

Strike King Ocho vs Zero
Next to the Senko the SK Ocho is my go to weightless worm. It casts really well and really far weightless and catches bass.
-
Frogs on mh rods
Geez, I fished frogs on a 7'MH rod with 20lb mono for years and it worked just fine. I have 50lb braid on now, but the mono was a lot easier to cast.

Upgrading to a higher end spinning setup-
Everyone will have their favorite and mine is a 7' Medium Carbonlite for $100 and a Shimano Sahara C3000Hg 6.2:1 spinning reel, $80, I jus picked up at Cabelas at the classic sale.

Best reel for skipping jigs
I have never gotten in to dock skipping because the stretch of the Potomac I fish is just acres and acres of grass beds.

Best reel for skipping jigs
I will add that the Curado DC is supposed to be good for dock skipping (I don't have one) and I have read where there is a Daiwa reel, which is also popular for this procedure because of its braking system I don't have a Daiwa either)

Green Curado E5 7.0:1 RH
Bought my last 200E7 in September, 2011 and my next purchase was a Chronarch 150 in December, 2013, but my feeble mind cannot remember why the Chronarch because I just wanted one (gift cards), or the 200E7's were no longer available.

Green Curado E5 7.0:1 RH
In perfect condition with original box and brochure maybe 80-$85, but am not a cost expert on old reels. I got $85 for my perfect condition Curado 100B reels and will hang on to my last two because they are such incredible reels now 12 years old and purring.

Disciphering Reel Sizes......?
And then you get curve balls like the Shimano Sahara 2500 and the 3000. Same reel exactly except the 3000 has a little larger capacity spool. I now have both having picked up a Sahara C3000HG 6.2:1 yesterday with a reel trade in at our Cabelas. At least new to me are the indicators on the spool for stopping the backing line and the max amount of line on the spool. Very helpful.
