  1. Pickerel in the Ozarks? Never seen one down there. Looks like a healthy one too.
  2. Oh I'm sure it makes plenty of noise but I have 2 small children so I'm an expert at ignoring noise.
  3. I've done it with pink and yellow braid on a wacky rig and topwaters, they eat it just fine.
  4. You're not going to get better quality and selection for the price than you will with Siebert's.
  5. Round (finesse) style head or and arky head.
  6. Nice smallie! Hard to be sure but I'd guess it's in the 15-16 inch range and around 1.5-2 pounds.
  7. Zebra mussels well eat all the big jigs you put on the bottom in the smallie lakes here. Go down to Table Rock or Bull Shoals though, those smallies love a big football jig. I use to catch them on a football jig in a couple of the lakes here before they got the razor clams.
  8. Videoing my trips does a pretty good job keeping a log for me and is less time consuming.
  9. Welcome!
  10. Pictures would help, but I'm guessing the blade is binding or not having the room to vibrate correctly.
  11. It's what I use. I don't know if it's quieter. I never really notice the noise of braid. I really like it for flipping though.
  12. I love buzzbaits, but they hit ploppers way harder for me. A lot of my buzzbait bites I never see or hear, just feel the weight.
  13. I shot one a little over 60 with a bow, couldn't imagine trying to land that on 2lb test. I got pulled to my knees and thought I was going to lose my bow when the one I shot made it's initial run.
  14. The Skinny Cutter 110+1 is a solid bait. Big bonus that is comes with great hardware and is a bit cheaper. I've got a few and they're pretty chewed up.
  15. Check out the Duo Realis 85sp and Duo Realis Rozante 77sp.
  16. I like those but now Rebel has the little ultralight cranks with the single, barbless hook on the back that are excellent creek baits for whatever will bite and the single hook makes hook removal with those small baits much easier. The little popper is a hoot.
  17. Price gouging laws are in effect currently in Kansas. Not sure how they judge what qualifies, but I guess at least it's there.
  18. KS just switched to year to year period instead of needing a new license every January 1st. Missouri has been year to year for as long as I've been fishing there, it's a much nicer way to do it. At least they were understanding of your honest mistake.
  19. They're hanging on my pegboard, I know right where they are provided the name isn't faded or damaged and unreadable. Just a matter of me remembering to look.
  20. This is my time to shine. They came into the modules at work and sprayed down all the chairs, tables, phones, everything with disinfectant, really freaked the inmates out. I told them they were being intentionally infected as part of a test to find a cure ?
  21. They didn't bother me until I had a bowfin thrashing by the side of the boat. Them suckers about get up on plane when they think there's an easy meal to be had. Boat flipping a 7-8 pound bowfin isn't easy on a MH rod but had to be done.
