Which Co-Polymer Line?
Someone who doesn't fish with it or someone who fishes twice a year that hasn't spooled up with fresh line in several seasons would be my guess. Pline CX is a very manageable line with great abrasion resistance. Pline XXtra strong has a lot of memory in higher pound test and has a lot of stretch but again great abrasion resistance. Only thing I could think would be fishing it around zebra mussels but I haven't found a line yet that stands a chance against zebra mussels. I like P line CX, XXtra strong, and C21 but I fish Mustad Thor most of the copolymer lines.

What Are Y'all Throwing The New-Ish Kvd 8.0 On?
7' 6" MH/F flipping stick and 20lb Pline. It's a big, big squarebill that I could probably throw on my deep cranking rod but I don't want to fish it on 10lb test and like to fish it around heavier cover like any other squarebill so the big rod should help move fish.

Wright & Mcgill Skeet Rees Crankbait Rod
I had a 7' MH with an E5 Curado. It was a decent cranking rod but not my favorite.

Pb Rainbow
Yeah, that's pretty much all the ones here look like, very pale compared to wild fish.

Re: Wyandotte County Lake
Well they'd sent all the permits in for the year already so since I wouldn't have to buy a permit Jared and I went to the Dotte for 2 hours Friday morning. Water was super clear and zebra mussels looked like they were doing very well. Wind was howling which made fishing slow difficult. Water temp was 43 degrees and I managed to catch 2 largemouth that were much fatter than last time I fished Wyco. I hooked one fish on a jigging spoon by the excavator but it came off shortly after it hooked up.

Gigging Frogs
In my experience, best way is to hold them by the legs and clunk them against something hard. I know some guys that just cut the legs off the live frog but I like to end them quickly. Another issue I have with gigs is they rarely kill the frog it seems. Sometimes they slowly bleed out in the cooler, other times they don't die at all and you still have to dispatch them at the end of the night. I have no issues with killing for food, I do have an issue with allowing the animal to suffer though, even a frog.

Sinkers On Hard Baits
I use suspend dots but one of these days I'm going to remember to put a bass casting sinker on the front of one of my floating cranks so I can get a slower rise in the cold water.

Correct, a deputy sheriff in the county jail.

Rod & Reel For Crappie
I use a 1000 size Shimano with 4lb mono on a 7' 3" ML/F rod. Most of my crappie fishing is done with larger baits or under a bobber so the typical short, ultralight crappie rods are not a good option for me.

New At Winter Bass Fishing - What Clothes Do I Need?
50 degrees?? Sweats and a hoodie?? Seriously all I'm in by the time it warms up to 50 on those rare days that it gets that warm during the winter here. My normal winter gear; 2 layers of heavy BPS thermal tops and bottom, synthetic liner socks with heavy Carhartt wool socks, sweat pants, t shirt, sweat shirt, hoodie, BPS 100mph suit, Muck Ranger boots, White River fingerless gloves, BPS buff, no name balaclava. Don't forget the sunscreen and chapstick or you're gonna have a bad time.

Cold Weather Storage
I keep all my stuff in the garage, which gets pretty dang cold still. If I didn't fish all winter I'd probably at least have my reels inside during the winter.

Gear I Should Be Picking Up
- Gigging Frogs
You can catch sacks full of them doing this and it's a blast on light tackle. I use a 3" grub threaded on an aberdeen hook, red and white both seem to be good colors for frogs. I'd grab them if I didn't have the option to fish for them.- Favorite Finesse Jig Trailor?
Baby Rage Craw or Zman Batwingz.- Deep Bank Cranking Good Or Bad?
I use to do it a lot and did very well with very few snags. The trick for me was to crank either super slow so it just ticked the rocks, or crank really fast for a couple turns then stop for a second and repeat the whole way in. I used to catch several big fish every year doing that from the bank.- Jig Trailer For Winter??
Uncle Josh pork trailers. Very little movement and they have lots of scent, which I believe is a good thing, especially in cold water. I use them all year round though so I already have confidence in them.- Lures You Use But Don't Catch Fish.
Blade baits like the Silver Buddy and flutter spoons. I understand why they work, I have an idea how to work them, I even have areas where I'm confident they'll work, just never been able to connect the dots and make it happen. - Gigging Frogs
