I'm a lucky guy !
Wow you were lucky. I’d try a Mr. Clean magic eraser on the cork.

Spinnerbait tips
I usually start off by letting the spinnerbait sink and then slow rolling it along the bottom. If I start picking up vegetation then I don't let the bait sink as deep, and reel in a little faster.

Does Hook Color Matter
I've never noticed any difference.

Rashes, Thorns, etc..
I'm with @WRB on this one. I'd go to the Dr. and have some tests to see if you have any allergies. You can become sensitized to anything at anytime. I developed an allergy to evergreen plants and trees when I was 12. Now all I have to do is brush up against them and I break out.

Low Hooking %
On a trip last year I had 5 bass in a row come unhooked half way to the boat. I don’t know what was going on, but I didn’t dwell on it. I just switched ponds.

What do you throw in this scenario?
Natural colored craw dragged slowly on the bottom.

LMB on Long Deep Points - Up, Down or Across?
I hit points from all angles and sides, especially when the winds are constantly shifting.

June 6 1944
To hear about it and learn about it in school is one thing, but to actually hear the stories from those that survived the landing really opens your eyes. God bless and thank you.

Spinning reel suggestions
I’ve got three presidents. You can’t beat them for the money.

Double Palomar knot - for mono?
The only time I have had a palomar knot fail was when it was tied wrong or the mono on the reel needed to be changed out.

Weather Woes
I don’t mess around with storms. When there are storms around I probably spend as much time watching the sky as I do fishing.

Summer Jig Fishing: New Video
New video! Thanks Glenn!

The Jig has clicked for me this year.
So far this year the jig bite has been slow around here. Usually, it's my top bait, but not this year. I'm hoping that the bite will pick up on the summer trip.

Early Spring Night Fishing
Nice going!

How long have you been fishing?
That's me down in Arkansas at my Grandma's place back in 1967. I remember I use to hand the rod back to my Dad and grab the cane pole. It was probably 4 or 5 years later when I finally got rid of the cane pole and started using a rod and reel.

Favorite jig trailers!
Zoom super chunk, super chunk jr., and salty chunk.

Spooling line
For spinning reels I just put the spool on the floor. For baitcasters I usually run the line through a big book for tension.

What tackle boxes do y'all use?
For years I was using a Plano box for fishing off of the bank, but last year one of the hinges gave out. This is my first year using a BPS 3600 bag. No complaints, but in my old box I knew where everything was. I’ll probably be reorganizing this new bag for a few seasons

New PB!!
Congratulations on the PB smallie! Stinks about the rod though.

school me on paddle tail swimbaits
Pretty much what @Bluebasser86 said. I've had my best luck retrieving them over the top of submerged vegetation.

Opinions for panfish setup
I've got an Abu SX10 on a 5'6" light Berkeley Cherrywood rod. It's my daughter's rod, but since she stopped fishing I use it.

So far this season what has been everyone’s most productive lures?
Shallow running crankbaits. Usually by this time of year the crankbait bite had slowed down, but it’s still going strong.
