  1. I would look at what baits the other anglers are using and try something different.
  2. 15 lb Big Game.
  3. That stinks. That happened to me last month. Luckily the company I called has same day service.
  4. I’m trying to bring back cutoffs and old ratty old T-shirt’s.

Grape / purple has been my go to color for years.
  6. Nice smallie and video!
  7. Nice looking bass! Congratulations!
  8. I’ve got 3 or 4 of them. They’re old so I don’t fish with them.

  10. Wow! Nice going!
  11. I’ve been catching this year, but nothing any size. The bass have been hitting crankbaits mostly. Not hitting plastics at all.
  12. Yes I just hook them straight through the center like a jig.
  13. They work pretty good. They have some action, but it’s more subtle.
  14. I’ve been having good luck lately running a shallow running crankbaits over vegetation.
  15. I use the 35 size presidents. I grew up using Mitchell 300s so the little extra size and weight doesn’t bother me.
  16. I will lightly oil and grease throughout the season as needed. My reels get broken down for a full cleaning in the winter when the water is frozen.
  17. Have you tried punching through the weeds to get to the bottom?
  18. Fluke, ultravibe speedcraw, or I'll wacky rig a senko.
  19. Welcome to the forums!
  20. I spray my legs, ankles, and shoes. Keep out from under trees as they can drop down on you and I also try to wear the lightest color clothing I can so I can see them crawling.
  21. The hawgs I've caught tend to try to swim out to deeper water, if they can't swim away they'll try to get into the nearest cover. The little ones run, jump, and shake.
  22. I've got the same problem with an old casting rod. When I tighten the reel down it acts like the threads are stripped and will loosen back up. I took it to a rod builder and he told me that it would be cheaper to buy a new rod than to break down the old one and replace the seat. I wrapped some felt around a hose clamp and anchored the reel down with that. Not the prettiest, but it works.
  23. I use to use Yo-Zuri Hybrid all the time on both spinning and baitcasting reels. Love the line, but it's a pain to find. The stores around me stopped stocking it, and when I try to order online it is usually on backorder.
