  1. I had asthma when I was a kid. For the most part I outgrew it when I was about 12 or 13. Every once in a while something would set it off, and I would wheeze like an old radiator. I think the last time I had an attack I was around 19 or so.
  2. I fish the corners of the docks like they were natural points.
  3. I fished a 12 acre lake Friday and Saturday. I was really surprised because I was the only one on it until around 1:00 PM on Saturday. Then I decided to get home before it got too crazy.
  4. Nice one!
  5. Christmas time. I am off from work for the entire week between Christmas and New Years. If the family doesn't have anything going on, and the lakes aren't frozen, I will be out on the water.
  6. I have 2 Gen 1 S models. They are my reels for t-rigged plastics.
  7. Knowledge. You can buy new baits every day, but you have to know how to use them.
  8. Booyah and Spro. I don't think I have ever used anything else.
  9. I keep a pair of old long nose pliers in the bag for removing hooks. I use a pair of wire cutters to cut line. They work on everything except braid, and if I need to, I can cut through a hook.
  10. I have gotten to the point where I have made a checklist. Before each trip I run through it to make sure I haven't forgotten anything. Nice looking bass!
  11. Doesn't matter to me. I can make both work.
  12. Slot down, weightless, and I let it sink to the bottom before I start working it back.
  13. Congrats on your new PB!
  14. Nice going on the new PB!
  15. I've had those water snakes go after jigs before, but I have never had one in the boat with me.
  16. I will have to try cedarcide. I have gotten ticks on me while fishing in a boat out in the lake. The only thing I can think of is that they are dropping off of the trees when I go under the limbs.
  17. Black Jitterbug, or a black buzzbait for numbers and size. A black frog seems to attract a lot of bullfrogs. I start looking for night fishing spots in the spring. I head out on the water after it's gotten too dark for the other boaters.
  18. Lately I have been going by the wind. Over the past few weeks when we get a downpour there has been very little wind with it, but when it drizzles or sprinkles, there are heavy gusts of wind.
  19. Sometimes I look at the wind, water clarity, temp, cover, and structure. Other times I will go by what has worked in the past in the body of water I am fishing in.
  20. I don't care for true UL set ups. I like a little more muscle in the rod. I have a cardinal spinning reel on a 5'6" light action lightning rod, and a president spinning reel on a 7'0" ML rod. Both are great for crappie and bluegill.
  21. I have several skitter pops, but they never seem to make it into the tackle bag when I am planning a trip.
  22. Congrats on the catch!
  23. Last fall walking the bank. I didn't look to see what was around me, and the t-rig got caught in a small bush as I was casting out. I just put that rig back in the car.
  24. Nice catching!
  25. We had to paddle with the 3700 boxes one time when the boat ran out of gas. We were in such a hurry that no one bothered to fill the tank.
