7ft mh mojo bass is awesome for spinnerbaits. I would go with a mh over a m for spinnerbaits a t rigs. Many people enjoy veritas rods, I prefer fenwick or st croix. More Expensive I go to dobyns

You can easily clean that cork with Mr. Clean magic eraser and for the price its going for thats not bad. You may even be able to make a warranty claim on the rod.

That trick saved a few bass for me. I was teaching kids how to fish and wasnt paying to my wacky rig and deep hooked a bass. Taught them how to get a deep hook out instead.

I wont be making the trip up from school this year. Kind of sucks.

Almost every fishing company offers some sort of a college discount if you look in the right place. Being in a bass club is usually the only way you can gain access to those discounts.

Join your college bass team or start a college bass team and take advantage of the discounts provided to college students. Also its better to spend money when things are on sale.

Its probably a good overall bait but idk if it catches more fish. Give it a shot.

I like using a 66 fenwick hmg because it allows you to flip and pitch the bait and get it in tight to cover. The new 66 fenwick aetos is amazing

Ive had a lot of luck fishing around wood with bladed swim jigs. Just get ontop of the snag and pop it out.

Either a Fenwick 2 piece or a st croix 2 piece rod. Ive used every level of Fenwick from gt- aetos and they are great rods. Edit: and Ive sold ever level of st croix from triumph- legend extreme and used the majority of the avid/premier lineup.

Clintons worth the drive I meant in his area there arent many small ponds / lakes worth the drive. For example lake of the woods( mahomet ) isnt worth the drive for him. Also take that boat out I would love to have a boat on the lake, I have to rely on friends.

Split ring pliers and replacement treble hooks. Nothing is worse than having to replace treble hooks with an old pier of needle nose pliers.

Fun and a little scary is fishing on table rock or kentucky lake and it starts to get choppy and a storm starts rolling in. Knowing that at any point you can get pushed into a huge rock bluff or hit a rogue wave that pushes you onto a point bar or beaches you in the middle. Nothing like the great lakes but still makes you uneasy.

The best was when we had a hunter yell to us " boys you are going to want to get out of the cove, we've got a youth duck hunt going on. I can guarantee I wont hit you but im not so sure about them" Que us blasting the trolling motor on high and getting out of there.

Ive got a similar deal and have 2 aetos bass rods and another ice rod. Theyre my favorite rods.
