I had Meniere's disease. No fun. Took about two years for it to totally go away. Doctor gave me Rx for Meclizine and todl me to also take some over the counter dizzy meds when I felt an attack coming. Have her ask her doctor to test her for Meniere's disease. And remember, most eye, ear, and nose doctors have no idea about Meniere's disease so have her find one that knows about it. Here is a blurb from the Internet: Signs and symptoms of Meniere's disease include: Recurring episodes of vertigo. You have a spinning sensation that starts and stops spontaneously. Episodes of vertigo occur without warning and usually last 20 minutes to several hours, but not more than 24 hours. Severe vertigo can cause nausea. Good luck.

I have been noticing a difference in the MPG among different brands of gasoline. The highest MPG so far is from BP. Exxon, Shell, and Citgo are in second place. Sam's Club is in last place. Do you guys notice that any one gasoline brand has a higher MPG than others you have used? My father-in-law swore that he got great gas mileage from a local independent gas station as opposed to WaWa, Sheetz, etc. Thanks in advance for your thoughts and observations.

In Richmond Virginia and surrounding areas we have copperheads. Water moccasins do not come farther up the Historic James river past Hopewell and the Appomattox River. Some people on Nextdoor swear they have seen timber rattlesnakes in our area but I am doubtful. Having more dogs bit on face this year than in years past as the copperheads are on the move.

Be careful with a torn hamstring. I had one may years ago and I remember the pain. Doctor told me to do exercises as the tear will calcify and become a major problem. Ask him about this. Good luck on a speedy recovery. Total knee replacement of right knee. 90% of pain gone. Physical therapy so painful that I refuse to have left knee replaced. Am I a sissy? Yes, when it comes to pain. X2. I picked the Sooners to win it all. Do you all understand that of the 8 teams in the CWS, 6 are/will be from the SEC. Yes, 4 from the SEC West plus Texas and Oklahoma. Should be great baseball in the SEC in the coming years. And congrats to LSU alumni, Mike Bianco of Ole Miss, who guided the Rebels to the championship round. I will be cheering on the Rebels to win the championship although I did pick Oklahoma to take it all. Of course some sour grapes: Stovall from Louisiana did not make it into the champtionship round as Arkansas went down in flames, scoreless in their last game against Ole Miss. Yes, Stovall is a known LSU name with Jerry in football. And yes, LSU coach Paul Manieri had Tre Morgan at first base so no reason to go after Stovall. Get ready for at least two good games, maybe three. And only 70 +/- days until kickoff!!!!

I have trouble comprehending why some of us bass guys and gals do not wear our PFD while fishing or going from one location to another. Even in my bass club the guys take off their PFD as soon as they get up from the drivers seat and head for the trolling motor. Since this accident happened in Louisiana I would have expected the two unfortunate boaters to know that wearing their PFD in Louisiana waters is necessary at all times.

Two thnigs to consider: As stated by Hank Parker, it doesn't cost anything to set the hook. Second, you understand how the bites are transmitted to you so you will know when somelthing is "wrong." From the bait through the line via the rod to your finger or hand to your eyes on the line you recieve information about what is going on with your bait. If anything feels different, you set the hook. I suggest you watch the Big Mouth videos to note how fast the bass can inhale your bait and then spit it out. This is why we use scent so the basss will retain your bait for an additional second or two. Check out this one of the three videos and you will improve your hook sets. Wow! That's terrible. I take my mowers to Sammy Nelson in Powhatan County who charges very little to service the engine, sharpen and then put back the mower blades. Speedy recovery!

Take it easy and rest. Wife and I got the second round of the virus and it was nothing. We were tired and we took a lot of naps for a few days and then it was gone. We have had our shots. Doctor said not to get the booster shots and he seems to be correct. Here's to a speedy recovery for everyone.

Well Old Ranger, seems that we do not have any guys who have fished Sandy this spring on the Forum. All I can do is suggestg you watch this 15 minute video. Although they are in kayaks, it is the same as if they were in a bass boat.

Great information, Fly. Also remember the Amelia Wildlife Perserve in Amelia County. A great place to fish from a kayak. Sandy River Reservior is another good place, too. Bear Creek is a little way out from Richmond but it is a beautiful place to see and fish. As Fly penned, there are many places to put in a kayak and have some good fishing. Now, it is time for you to start reading and watching videos about bass fishing so you can learn all you can.
