I wouldn't waste your money on it. I had one I bought when they first came out, don't know what I was thinking when I bought it. Used it once and then gave it away. MPO junk and I was stupid enought to buy one.

Thats why when I buy new reel from them and they ask me if I would like it strung up with whatever there promoting at that time, I say no thanks Some of the people working at BPS are lucky to even know the difference between a Baitcaster and spinning reel let alone how to spool one up. My advice would be do it yourself from now on and know it's right. Good thing you didn't get out on the water and have this problem

Congrats on the reel. I have one and love it. I personally think it's easier to slow down than to try and speed up. It will handle crank baits just fine without wearing you out.

Well I'm happy your catching them cause all I'm catching are snow bass out in the front yard. I was thinking and maybe this is way out of the question but maybe you could go to a Scuba school around where you live and see if they would take a shot at finding your rig for a donation or something or you could take a few lessons yourself and then find it on your own. Just an idea Anyway nice fish

One reason why some use a jig as the weight is because when using a regular weight sometimes the bass are atracted to what is stiring up all the commotion on the bottom and will actually bite the weight itself. So buy using a jig and this happens you have a oppurtunity to still catch the fish. What I find is when a bass is biteing the the weight is to shorten your leader length some so the bass will associate the comotion to the bait following

Just an idea for those who don't want to mount a real fish and don't want a replica. Look into buying a digital picture frame so you can hang it on the wall and display all your catches

Well I'm starting to acumulate quite a few rods and now it time to start looking at how to store them. I plan on building a rod rack myself. If you guys don't mind would you post some pics on your storage racks maybe this way I will get some idea's on how I want mine, also I plan on buying some kind of rod case for when I have to travel any suggestions

Well it depends on how you plan on fishing then narrow it down to what line best suits your style of fishing. I use Gamma Copolymer myself. Others here like Yo Zuri. You might be better off and try a little of each one and then make your decision

Gamma (purple box) is a copolymer. The Gamma Edge is florocarbon. I would highly recomend you try the copolymer myself. I have used gamma for a year now and had no problems with it. When the ice eventually thaws out and there is water agin. I plan on atleast for two or three trips to take nothing but a C rig outfit and some extra terminal tackle and one or two bags of plastic's For some reason I have been hooked pretty bad on the C rig.

Wouldn't it be great if all wars could be fought out of a Bass boat on the water with rods and reels instead of guns and nucular weapons. Cerntainly would be more peaceful.

Well today I picked up my new Loomis rod MBR IMX 843c 7'MH and paired it up with a Chronarch 100B. I plan on using this as my C rig rod as I have had alot of succes with this method last season and I am hooked on the C rig. So far I think I'm going to really like the rod but I'm not real sure about the reel yet. Maybe I am so used to my curado it will take a little time to get use to the 100B. But in the reels defense I didn't spend alot of time outside to throughly test it considering it was 10 degrees outside with a wind chill of -2 so I really couldn't feel my hands enough to really get a feel for it. The one thing I can say I don't like about the 100b compared to the curado is I can't access the reel brakes as easy on it as the curado. Not much room there for big fingers Soon as the ice is gone I'm going to be out

I had to vote St Criox because thats what I have been using up till now. I just ordered a new Loomis IMX MBR 843c 7' mh and waiting to get it before I can say anything about Loomis rods. Hopefully I wont be dissapointed. I'm going tommorow to BPS to get a new reel for it. I'm thinking a Chronarch 100b should go nicely with it

I was wondering the same thing myself. I ordered a IMX MBR843c tuesday and yesterday I was looking through the BPS catalog agin and was trying to figure out what set them apart

No not really its not much of an option, its giving in. #1 He will use the oil for his army. #2 The food will go to the army not the people. #3 He will use the money to build up his army some more and be a bigger threat than he is now down the road. The people live in terrible conditions there because he is a dictator who cares nothing about the people who live in that country. He only cares about his military and himself all where doing is helping him accomplish what he wants.

I found out this morning while ordering a new loomis. Wonder why any speculations???? I'm going to BPS Cincinnati this friday I'll see what I can't find out. I have a coupon for the prefered customers I going to put toward a new reel
