  7. i agree about it being a year round bait in general the colder the water the longer the pauses Once you start catching them on jerkbaits you will be as hooked as the fish
  8. From what I have found usually as soon as you go to snap the fish is on and hooked Jerkbait fishing is my favorite type of fishing Let the fish tell you what they want, some time they want those long pauses sometimes they want fast and erratic Another technique is just cast out and reel in good luck
  9. I hopped in the car and drove 58 miles one way yesterday to go to a little tackle shop that I always liked. Got there and they were out of business. Turned around and came home.

  19. Beautiful dog you have there. Since my two labs died, I have not been able to duck hunt since. I am not in the position now to start training another dog for another year or so. It is just two hard for me to go with my buddies and their dogs. It is like cheating on my two best friends that I lost.
  20. I always keep extra superglue and duct tape around from every thing to gashes to making splints hard to beat those two
  21. I was given a ton of old lures when I was kid. However I remember when I was about ten I picked out my first lure to buy. I bought a jitterbug. I had about five farm ponds I could walk to from my farm. I remember that first morning fishing that jitterbug. I have been addicted to bass fishing for 25 years now.
