  1. The new steez LTD is just the LTD version of the current Steez SVTW /w the SV boost spool. The alphas SVTW is your alphas frame but /w the TWS and a deeper SV spool than what an alphas normally has. The zillion is completely redesigned and while the pictures makes it look a little shimano-esque, the videos that are out on it kind of remind of me of the TD-Z in the way it palms. Both the new zillion and Steez LTD have the new "sv boost" spool. I think the zillion is coming stateside but not until next year. Not sure about the steez or alphas but I'd rather but them overseas anyway. They're debuting this month and will be available overseas this month to purchase. The Alphas and steez are available for pre order but the zillion is not yet. Steez price will scare you but the zillion and alphas are very reasonable.
  2. dropping new spool bearings in a tatula isn’t going to make it feel like a steez. You’ll get some added performance but it’s not going to add to the fluidity, tighter tolerances, etc. Daiwa doesn’t use special spool bearings in their flag ship reels.
  3. 1/2oz total weight for the 743, sure. 1/2oz + plastic, no. I have the 742,743,745. I really like the 743 but not a chance id consider a 1/2oz weight + plastic on it.
  4. Omnia is a great little shop thats taking off. Awesome people
  5. I just tied on 2oz of total weight to the rod. It handle it /w some deflection but I would not be close to comfortable throwing 2oz + plastic on this rod. When I said 5/16-3/8oz, it was meant as a Trig weight as I stated in the sentence before that it(the build) was meant for trigs. For reference, I put the baits and weight on my scale of the things I use most. 5/16oz + plastic up to 3/8oz + plastic is roughly 3/4oz-1.1oz of total weight for the different weights on baits I use. So total weight sweet spot of this rod is 3/4oz-1oz which would be right in between the ratings of 3/8-2oz (roughly). no experience /w the 765.
  6. Some items from brands arent always included. IE, some megabass is able to get a discount and some arent. You’re correct that it will show up on paypal before you finalize the order . Its always benn that way for myself. Call them to make sure.
  7. Your post was kinda all over the place. What exactly are you asking?
  8. I wouldn't worry about it. your shipment is further along than most peoples. I have a ship date listed but all my items are still allocated. My order is invoiced and processed w/o tracking now and I still don't have a confirmation email.
  9. No idea. Says your shipment is a multipiece but all the stuff there would fit one of their small boxes. The 3rd column says all of those items are shipped though.
  10. You should have items listed in your order history. If you’re not provided a ship date, you’re probably getting items drop shipped from the vendor. Dobyns does this alot for example during sales.
  11. Log in to your tw acct. goto order history. Click order details. Click track order and it will show a ship date and tracking will be updated when its available. Order details are available immediately after you place an order. If you dont see your order, there’s an issue with it.
  12. there’s been times i havent received a confirmation email. If you have a TW account, log in and view your order. I dont have a confirmation (yet) but i already have a scheduled ship date of tuesday. it’s the busiest shopping day of the year. relax.
  13. You can get winn gripp fitted handles for a rod. I just prefer a certain shape of cork and then I put the thin tennis grip overwrap on it. Just prefer the way it feels. I just deal hunted the parts. The blank is around 240$ and torzite guides can run you 150-200$. thread, epoxy, reel seat, and cork/butt will be less than 50$ if you go cheap on cork. I got deals on the blank and guides/parts and probably only have about 330$ in it. Love the rod. If it breaks, i'll be making it's twin down the road.
  14. I have a custom rod I use for Trigs. Built on a Phenix K2 736 blank. Action is mod fast and weight wise 5/16-3/8 is the sweet spot. Blank is a little pricey but it's super light and sensitive. I didn't go crazy on the cosmetics. Just performance. I have Torzite guides but that's the extent of it. Basic full cork handle because I put overwrap on all my rods and a Fuji ECS reel sear.
  15. I like the R+ for all around skipping as well as casting distance. I target cast and skip alot /w frogs . HLC is the next OG zillion build . Just trying to source all the specific parts I want is exhausting.
  16. gotta be quick. sale's been there for 3 weeks.
  17. Click the sale links.... https://sunlineamerica.com/shop/holiday-specials/ took about a week to get my 2x 18# spools. Killer deal.
  18. it would be idea for all the things you listed.
  19. A braid ready spool just means that you , technically, shouldn't need to use backing to avoid line slippage. However, Coastal spools are deep spools and if you don't use backing, you'll be wasting a ton of money filling it /w braid you'll likely never use in freshwater situations. Both the Coastal TWS and Coastal SVTW work perfectly find /w fluoro.
  20. pretty new stuff. I'm ordering some from TW during the BF sale. There's a handful of people I've talked to in different groups that feel it's very similar to Tatsu.
