  1. They were tested and perfected by a couple staffers using an air stream custom and alphas air tw.
  2. I prefer 12# shooter for tubes. More abrasion resistant.
  3. Buy it overseas. It will be cheaper
  4. eco pro swing shad is very similar. not sure why most people dont talk about them. cableas had them for like 2$ last year.
  5. take a picture of it as far away from your body and close to a camera as you can. tell everybody it's 3# larger than it is.
  6. The steez SVTW is smaller and lower in profile than the new zillion SVTW. The smallest offering would be the Steez CTSV or the alphas CTSV. The steez CTSV and alphas are similiar in lower profile feeling but the alphas feels wider and the steez is longer. Both are small reels. My new zillion Sv is on the way. hope you like it.
  7. Its kind of irrelevant to debate what rod power is as theres no industry standard. Regardless, the gen3 extreme 3 power rod will handle exactly what the you want
  8. It’s on the higher end of a medium. It’s closer to a medium heavy than a medium In the traditional sense. It has a lot more power than you would expect but I wouldn’t consider it a typical medium heavy rod
  9. no....I guess my whooping comment was taken different than what I thought. I was implying that the spool weight was still relatively lightweight for what the reel uses demographic is set at. for reference, the RCS g1 steez 1016 SVTW spool is 9g and the previous zillion svtw spool is 12g.
  10. I should clarify..I was answering for the new steez and zillion. I have no idea about the new alphas spool but I think i read is either 32 or 33mm...there's a video somewhere of a guy swapping the new steez LTD in to a steez SVTW and then a fairly detailed overview/review of the zillion and it's spool /w spec comparisons /w the current. He said there's the same dimensions and can be used as previous 34mm. The new sVboost zillion spool, however, is a whopping 13.4g /w bearing....I haven't seen the weight of the new steez spool but i've only seen a couple people recieve them.
  11. Few people have them already. Initial reviews are very positive. I missed the first round for the one I want. Waiting for them to come back in stock overseas to get mine.
  12. No. I've used shooter when I didn't have any sniper on hand and it was fine. I just like the little extra stretch sniper has for moving baits.
  13. Their ratings are optimistic to say the least and rate more than what they actually are but they are great rods but handles are too long. I'll always recommend the MB 110 special variant as the benchmark for a jerkbait rod but being you're on a budget, I would contact Alex over at ALX rods. He makes a an awesome jerkbait rod that gets alot of praise in his zolo series. Price They're a hair over your budget but he makes some awesome. The rod i'm referring to is "out of stock" but if you contact him he could work with you on getting something built. https://alxrods.com/collections/zolo/products/zolo-jerkbait-69-medium-fast-casting
  14. This rod is a touch light in power for what I would want to use for jerkbaits and the handle is too long. It is however a fantastic popper rod. I returned this rod for a different nanoace wanting the same thing. The Nanoace line is a very underrated line of rods at it's price point.
  15. I use 12# shooter for weightless senkos/light trigs/. 14# shooter for pitching tubes or skipping. 16# shooter for 1 trig set up that I skip /w a lot. 20# shooter on a trig setup and 20# shooter on a flipping/pitching jig setup. I don't use shooter for bladed jigs. I use 18/20# sniper for those.
  16. I like the edge thin 3700s for jerkbaits and terminal tackle.
  17. Toads, yes all the time. Frogs, no, unless it's open water/sparse pads. 735 is more ideal for both.
  18. How fast was shipping? Some of their stuff looks pretty decent.
  19. Shooter is about all use for bottomcontact and flipping. Been using it for years in 12-22#. Absolutely love it. Way less stretch than tatsu.
  20. swim jigs excel in grass. the correct ones do at least. https://brovarneybaits.com/product-category/swim-jig/
