Steez SV TW (2016 models) increase casting distance
I've got quite a few steez SV tws and Steez A's . All of them have or I put the G1 Steez SV spool on it. Use them for flipping/pitching wood for jigs to shallow cranks....would never use one for frogs....and it's my Favorite reel they've made since the Td-Z. If you think you're casting 40-50 yards and you think you need to cast further, you aren't casting 50 yards. I really don't think people know exactly how far 50 yards actually is.Also, Free spool has absolutely nothing to do /w casting distance. literally, nothing. It's also an SV spool...it's not an HLC or R+ spool that's meant for distance. In my opinion, stock daiwa spool bearings aren't great. you'll get some good ones, but for the most part, I've found them less than ideal on all the reels I've worked on. If you want to find a reel just to "bomb" lures, don't use an SV spool.

Spool Bearings
They have all the attributes you would want in a bearing. Smooth, quiet, consistent, effortless casting. Hedgehog air HD are at the top, too. By no means a necessity but a solid upgrade if you enjoy enthusiast level tinkering.

No chip Tungsten
Do you think tungsten is some sort of indestructible material? Its incredibly hard but yes, it can chip and break.....mikes tungsten is a no chip mat finish.

Opinions on the new Daiwa Tatula SV TW103
Reel was announced a few months ago. Its been out for almost a month now. It's a JDM only model at the moment. Not coming to the US until spring. You can find it for 180$ on various JDM vendors. no, same reel. It's smaller, built on the new tatula 100 frame.

Sticky reel grips
I can't say for certain but I don't see why they wouldn't. shimano knobs are pretty universal on their own handles like daiwa is /w theirs. I have a set on my 51E that needs replacing and I'll probably order these same knobs. Those buggers get slippery when wet.

Shimano reverse pawl
sure do. hasn't been in a couple 51es for 7-8 years. pitch it in the trash.

Get the boca pliers for 40$. Been using them for years without an issue. Not a fan of the small, twist tool.

Peg Board Lure Storage
I have a large pegboard in my mancave inside that I hang my spare baits, line, etc on. Been doing it that way for years and it's the best way I could find to organize things visually.

Diawa tatula ct vs tatula sv tsw
The tat ct, tat ct type r, Zillion svtw and the tat svtw are built on the exact same frame footprint. Sizes are identical. the new tatsv that came out this month is built on the smaller 100 frame.

Curado 50e noise
Take the handle side plate off and check if the AR pawl that is on the clutch plate is bent/out of shape. It's a backup AR incase the bearing fails and is kind of a tiny dog ear shape about the size of a thumb nail give or take. you can remove this without any issue. It can cause a clicking noise like you're describing when it gets out of shape. It's a stupid design and , when I had E series reels, I threw the piece away.

Soaking/cleaning bearings on a new reel?
soak, check them, repeat if any rough spot or they don't come to a smooth stop.
-
Extra spools?
Depends on the reel on how cost effective it's going to be. Daiwa, for example, the entry level Tatula CT/100 isn't an expensive spool. SV spools, , even in the Tatula line, however, are costly.
