just tried turning Sunday waivers off and that didn't work..if anybody all of a sudden doesn't have claims...my bad. holler at me and i'll fix it. I'm done tinkering...I know there's a way to turn waivers off on Sunday like in years past but I can't figure it out..Not sure if anybody notices but the waiver times between when the add drops are set for (4am) and when they say they will process (3am) on your pending moves is always off 1 hour..no idea why that is this way either but it's so early it should not matter...might be switching to CBS next year guys...back down the reddit I go..

So if anybody noticed....I made some changes to the trade deadline (matched it up 1week after /w the NFL trade deadline) and turned the undropable list off as well as made sure I could add/drop people as LM for 0$ in case that happened to one of you. Doing this also deleted my waiver claim I put in this morning before the games started . I'm going to drop that player and still put a bid on the player I need. Also if anybody sees any of these random DST discrepancies that are happening...let me know. Other leagues DST scores seem to differ league to league w the same scoring. This ESPN revamp for this year is annoying.... also..if anybody knows ESPN's new top secret BS way to turn waivers off on Sunday so you guys don't have to wait a full day on a Sunday to add drop...let me know....nobody seems to be able to figure it out. They did something to FAAB this year that stops it but they say it's possible to turn off.

If anybody is having issues with saving their lineup via the app or your lineup not taking or add/drops not taking let me know asap for the Thurs night game. Some app update to fix the crashing on my phone kept reverting lineup changes in our league and wouldn't let me drop others in other leagues. Ill adjust your lineups if you let me know. Im going to fix mine in the morning. The app update, for those that have this problem, fixed having to launch the app multiple times before it would load your team.

Most of the items on the "exclusion" list are included in the sale after you checkout. There are always exceptions every year and they change from year to year. Humminbird and Minn Kota are not always included. Not all Megabass items are on sale each year. Some are included and some aren't. If you call them , they will tell you what exactly is actually not excluded.

Run the wire directly to the battery. put the correct size fuse holder on the hot wire at the battery.

you don't need abec 5 or 7 in frame bearings. it's useless and you won't notice the benefit. They aren't any smoother at the rate they get used than a SS abec3. For levelwind and handle bearings, just get a SS 4x7x2.5. You can find these on ebay and amazon for cheap in sleeves of 10. Any 34mm spool daiwa makes will drop in. The Zillion SV G1 spool is a really good spool to drop into it.

you can drop a player for player. You don't have to drop prior to making an add.

Tackletrap and Daiwa all have the handle. It's not a unique handle and it's used on alot of their reels.

hot foot is a "must" if you fish alot of big water/rough water. Makes life alot easier and safer with 2 hands on the wheel /w a 250 on rough water. If you do alot of idling or mid/range to slow speeds in shallow water, stump fields I prefer a hand throttle so i can stand up and look for boils/stumps. Not sure about merc / yamaha but I know evinrude has controls that allow you to switch back and forth. Unless you fish alot of water that can get nuts and have alot of 3+ foot rollers, a hand throttle is fine if you're used to it.

ESPN has a standard “undropable” list for upper tier actice players. I always leave the feature on to avoid headaches from the past with people dropping stars they didnt mean to. If you still want to drop him, let me know.

Don’t overreact..... That Bears defense is that good and it’s probably the best front seven in football and maybe one of the best we’ve seen in years. I wouldn’t take too much stock into either offense. Neither of them played in preseason. It’s week 1. This happens every year with a few Teams and it will be a non-issue in a couple weeks.

Only the players playing tonight will be locked in your line up. IE if you have 2 players playing tonight, only those 2 spots will be locked when the game starts. All other spots will be open. The only time a spot on your line up locks is if is occupied by a player that is playing at that time.

FSS is ok but not great for spinnerbaits. Spinnerbait special would be my choice. I have a diablo spec r gen1 i use for bladed jigs. Awesome rod for them. Would make a good spinnerbait rod too but i prefer spinnerbait rods a tad shorter for targets.

Got into Ultrasonic cleaning a few years ago. Tried multiple baths for different parts to find what I liked best. The only time an ultrasonic cleaner was useful for bearings is if they are packed with grease. Spool bearings it isn't any faster or effective, as DVT said, as using a solution in a glass jar. Reel internals get put in an ultrasonic cleaner because I have to do 20 of my own and then whoever wants something fixed. Bearings get either brake cleaner or acetone depending on how dirty they are followed by a dip in 99% alcohol. If you only do a few reels a year, you can clean a reel just as clean, if not cleaner, by using the correct brushes and hot/soapy water. Ultrasonic cleaners for fishing reels just saves time/elbow grease.
