Which Steez On Destroyer FMJ ?
I've been using an SVTW /w 20# fluoro for heavy cover jigs for a couple years now. Love it. Have multiples of both reels. Either will do the job great. Very, very silky smooth reels. I replaced the spools in the Steez As /w the G1 RCS sv1016 spools. Steez A spool isn't really anything special. Another option is the 8:6 2019 Morethan. Same frame /w different aesthetics.

Dark Sleeper
It's a good swimbait. they are super, super small baits. the 3/8 took me by surprise as to how small it was.

Siebert Outdoors's Dredge Docker Rocker - Should I?
That jig from @Siebert Outdoors is the only jig I throw in wood, skip docks, and laydowns. I'm a jig nut and that jig is perfect. As for sizes I only use 3/8 and 1/2 in that jig in 3 different colors and usually order 20 at a time of each.

Best Solvent to Flush Bearings
A heavy gear oil in the frame bearings will give a far better smooth and fluidless feeling than a low viscosity bearing oil.

Herman is still makeing them. Carolina Crankbait supply co is the only place that retails them. You can pick them up on facebook from time to time, too.

- Yamamoto Double Tail Hula Grubs - what to fish them on?
site sponsor @Siebert Outdoorssells a football jig head without the weedguard that fits the hula grub perfectly. I use his 1/4oz the most for smallies in rock and 3/8 as well. Also throw them on his brush jig's in heavy cover. Hula grubs are awesome. https://www.siebertoutdoors.com/Football-Jighead-1576.htm- Do the Curado E's deserve their legendary status?

Assuming there wasn't gas in the tank, you should be fine. I would probably change the LU oil...after sitting for 11 years...for piece of mind. Water pump is probably fine but the impeller may need to be replaced. Hard to say though. Brand new motor after sitting for 11 years is a new one to me. The impeller is the only thing I can think to worry about but that's an easy enough job you can do quick on a 40hp in a few minutes. Swap the LU oil, fresh gas, and fire it up fingers crossed. Congrats on the new rig. Make sure you follow the motor break in to the T. Not that there's any warranty left but you can probably find the break in somewhere online.- Daiwa Zillion 100SHL
Use the 7:3 zillion type r gears instead. Tackle trap has them.- Show off your Stuff
Its pretty simple. The clip is the biggest pain. If you’ve never done it, do inside a huge ziplock bag so you can see yourself working and nothing will go flying. C clip comes off with a tiny flat head and some pressure. Spacer pops right off then the inductor. Then just install everything inreverside order. A pliers wrapped in tape (so you dont scuff the shaft) will snap the clip back in place.- Show off your Stuff

I can't really tell what I'm looking at in your picture but I have a Totalscan on my boat. Looking at the transducer from the side, you'll notice there's a "shiny" bottom half. That has to be submerged to get a reading. If there are any obstructions on either side of the transducer's "shiny" bottom half, you'll get less than ideal image return. I have to trim my motor up just a little bit to get better side imaging on the left.- Zoom crankbaits
Rob Cochran makes some of the best. His company is "JawJacker". John Hott makes an excellent E-1. Bryan Barr of Barr Lure Co makes some a lot very good flat sides that I like as much as a Mutt. Super hard to get as they go fast. Catching Concept Lures is another. Hard to get though. Norm coultier (might have spelled his name wrong) , BJ Barron, Dbaits out of ohio to name a few. I think @Siebert Outdoorshas a balsa squarebill or at least he used to. You could PM him if you were interested. Site sponsor and makes the best jigs around.- Zoom crankbaits
Simmons sporting goods in Alabama was pretty much the only distributor of WEC baits in the country. I've seen recent pictures of their current "stock" and there's thousands of baits left in the "Zoom Room". The prices are just reactionary...kind of like pre-rapala warts. Rare colors will always be expensive but there are SOOO many WEC crankbaits out there that these prices will inevitably go way down in the future. Plus..there's companies/individual builders that make spot on replias with the same action/weight/everything of the Mutt and E-1.- Zoom crankbaits
Relative to what they are now, they were cheap lol. 22-25$ was the average each WEC cost up until ED passed. Join the facebook group "Wood Bait Nation" and look around on there. People buy/trade/sell/showoff WEC and lots of other high end Balsa's.- Zoom crankbaits
The owner, Ed Chambers, passed away recently and these baits are no longer being made. This and the fact that their flat out work are why they are going up in price. The date, for the most part, is etched on the bill /w his signature. The E-1 is one of my favorite baits to throw as well as the Mutt. There isn't a lot of info on what each specific bait weighs, dives, etc so you're betting off just asking what bait does what. The mutt, as of like 2 days ago, is going for 100+ because Swindle was on BassTalkLive talking about how great the bait is so that really sent the Mutt price through the roof...kind of. The E-1 and Mutt are going for, prior to that interview, around 60-70$ each. Sometimes a little less or more depending on color. Are they worth it? Depends. I've got enough Mutt's and E-1s that I don't have to worry about paying but they're worth it. The E-1 is an awesome bait but there's a couple people that make dead ringer replicas that sell them for the original E-1 price of 25$.- New '19 steez ct tws
Yes, it does have an external dial. It's on the underside of the reel. The reel's supposed to be more expensive than the current Steez SV TW which will, after Daiwa's 2019 2% price increase across the board starting to come, be closer to 520$. Guessing that puts this new 30mm spool Steez around the 575(Ish) mark when it gets sent stateside. I won't be bothering with this reel. Love the Steez SV TW and Steez A's.- Ranger z185 or Triton 18 trx
