  1. Like stated, it is very small. I use mine for holding spools of line, and I have another I use for a bunch of flip/pitch style baits. They're handy little bags but not fit for entire tackle organization.
  2. Thanks Pond. BR member Snakehead Whisperer seems to have a good concept on airbrushing. Maybe he can help you out in areas of improvement. From what I see, you did a nice job. But from an experienced lure painter, they can chime in on some tips. Snake seems to know his stuff from the forum posts I've read of his.
  3. I got a chance to look at some of the new Ranger Aluminum boats this year. They are really nice for a tin bass boat but what Ranger isn't nice. I agree with Slone that a Lund is the best bet on a deep v aluminum. Crestliner would be my second option if I were to go that route. It all depends on the kind of water you plan to fish too. All in all, whatever you can afford and gets you on the water is what counts. I hope you find something to suit your needs.
  4. What depths are you getting with on these? Line diameter? I want a batch of cranks to run 6-10 inches below surface. Manns 1- like stated was going to be my next attempt. For straight up squarebills I like the KVD 1.5 or 2.5.
  5. 15lb fluoro or 30-40lb braid of your liking.
  6. Graphic Designer as well as a managing partner of an apparel and promotional products company. Been a GD for 9 years straight out of college. My boss is great to me, doesn't track my off time and I never go a week unpaid. Would like to make more money (like everyone) but I got the second business thing going, trying to make both work. I don't know that I'll do this forever though.
  7. That's a great start, I like it! I'm thinking about doing my own this next winter. May I ask where did you get the blanks?
  8. Someone get this guy a cane pole and some nightcrawlers.
  9. A new Curado 50 would be nice. Even a Citica 50 would be great.
  10. Green Pumpkin with a flake (purple, blue, or even red) Watermelon with a flake (red, purple, blue). Junebug for the darker side.
  11. Clear water = Natural colors. What is your lake forage? Bluegill/sunfish? Shad? Crayfish? The lakes I fish I weedy and pretty clear to slightly stained. I almost always have some sort of bluegill pattern/colors on my lines. If it gets stained or becomes low light, I'll darken up the colors.
  12. Fade To Black - Metallica Midnight Rider- Allman Bros
  13. I also keep all my pitching/flipping style craws/creature baits in my BASS membership bag so that those are separate from the other stuff. I tend to use those styles for more than my other plastics. I guess I just "know" my system.
  14. At one point I had them in color from Light-Dark in the ziplocks, but that became too much maintenance to keep up with. I kind of just go by packaging brand to know what I'm searching for. Also, I will pull out 5-10 bags that I know I'll be using that day and keep them out for easy access.
  15. The BassPro XPS Worm binder is a nice little bag to use. I use it for all my drop shot stuff. All other plastics are in ziplocks by style but all in all, I keep EVERY plastic I own in it's original packaging. Never a confusion of color or manufacturer that way. I don't really have a big issue finding mine though.
  16. Nice fish Speed!
  17. Nice variety. How'd that 'Eye cook up? Good I bet!
  18. Swim Jig SK Caffeine Shad Hollowbody Swimbait
  19. Search frog fishing here. There has been dozens of useful topics onthis sspecifically.
  20. Just awesome! Thanks for sharing!
  21. Glad no one innocent was hurt. That is the case most often around here. Hopefully its a rude awakening for this guy.
  22. 1oz+ Sk Slither rig with a black and blue Rage Craw or Space Monkey. Paycheck punch skirt would be good too.
  23. Probably from the clear coat vs non. Imo I think Koppers makes a better frog. My Koppers last longer and stay nice and sharp. A lot of fish landed on them. My next frog of choice is KVD sexy frog. If you're open, try those two out.
