Ironclad if you like medieval hack and slash. Plot is ok but still s good watch.
  2. That's why it's called fishing and not catching. Sometimes it just doesn't go your way. If you threw the kitchen sink at them with no results, I'd question if they were even bass.
  3. Nice Jeff. Did you pick it up on flea bay?
  4. Catch it because 6ft is going to be a record.
  5. The same. Both are great braids and I use both.
  6. Nice. What were you throwing?
  7. Nice! Off the docks?
  8. The salt they use to pour in with the soft plastic is close to a powder form. More or less its for the weight. Salt will slowly release the longer you fish the lure, however after 5-10 fish most soft plastics will need replacing or some Mend-It to function. The salt on the exterior is just added salt. And the whole taste thing, is so that they HOLD the bait longer vs spitting it out. Has nothing to do with attracting bass. The guys who pour their own probably will chime in and give a more technical answer. But all these "million" dollar companies do it for a reason. There is a point to it, whether you feel that way or not.
  9. Cottonwood is awful with braid. I almost tend to not fish if the water is really badly covered. Mother nature's way of teling us to take a break.
  10. All the time. Pike will go after just about anything. Wait until they steal some hollow body frogs from you.
  11. Yea he found a school and capitalized on it. Fluke is a deadly weapon. He was throwing a spook too I believe. That was a lot of fun to watch. I personally like E2 a lot. I think he's a very versatile fisherman.
  12. Man am I glad I had twin boys. Girls would be the end of me. Good luck with your situation.
  13. Dynamite or a bow works great.
  14. Way to go! Go catch the momma now.
  15. From the blog on Bassmaster, it appears many guys are doing this to fish the heavy current. Chapman included.
  16. 3 tops would be my guess.. Not a very big mouth compared to your hand, so definitely not a 4+.
  17. If you're presenting yourself here, maybe think about changing your avatar out to something a little more professional or just you. If I was a company seeking out prospects and saw that picture, I'd probably never look back. I'm not knocking your image in anyway personally, but for a professional approach it's not the best to represent yourself.
  18. More than likely something rolled away to the abyss when your 2 year old made the whoopsy. If you're not confident in what you're doing, go have it serviced. Best of luck
  19. http://www.quantumfishing.com/bps/zebco/tackleservice/knowledge/cd870cxb%20schematic_416798bf-c_.pdf That should get you in the ballpark. Google does wonders
  20. Any size will work for the most part. You can always trim it down if the swimbait is too long. I pretty much always sheer the head off so that it becomes flat or concaved to fit up by the jig head better.
  21. Atttttta boy.....use that braid. I think you'll find yourself catching more fish, especially in the weedy Wisconsin lakes. So much easier to manage as well. Just remember, a little bit more loose of a drag now that braid is on.
  22. Is there any fish under 6lbs that bite your lures or are they just that scared? I'd be curious to know your all time weight of bass! ENVIOUS! Great shot Big O'!
  23. Love the swim jigs. One of my go to baits. They always produce. I like bluegill and perch colors.
  24. This. They do everything local lengends do except better. Which is why they can make a living off it.
  25. That was my thought too. Nothing fancy, he was in the right spot and making perfect casts. The guy can fish.
