  1. Do you ever miss?
  2. OverstockBait has Musky and Big Game lures on sale. Some up to 60% off. Pretty good deals if you're looking to stock up or expand your arsenal. Thought I'd share for those Musky Hunters out there.
  3. I use the BPS Braid Scissors. They are around $3.00 a piece so I have a few that I throw in various boxes or bags. They've worked just fine for me.
  4. What pros? There are no pro circuits that fish any of those bodies of water that I know of. Clubs yes. I'm heading up to my place (green lake area) next weekend. Hopefully mother nature is gracious enough to make conditions fishable.

Yes, I have seen dark red crawfish too.
  6. Thank you for reminding us Tom Skillen.
  7. Got these too. Wish I'd bought more. $5.00 was a steal.
  8. Why? That's how I feel about Illinois. I love WI up by my place. Green Lake area. Could definitely live up there if life would allow.
  9. Not that I'm aware of. Never been questioned in the 4+ years owning my boat.

  15. Once you start hooking smallies you'll be addicted. They're so fun to catch. What others have mentioned so far should get you on some smallie bites. Also, a lure of choice is a lipless crank for me.
  16. The luxury I have working in the t-shirt and ad specialty field. This is a demo piece which I get to use for myself, so that's a perk. Didn't cost me a dime.
  17. Even my phone case. You like?
  18. Fireline comes in Black I believe.
  19. You are always welcome to leave the dark side and become a Shimano jedi knight. Just throwing it out there.
  20. Way to put those Croix's to work. Nice fish.

I graduated college the year before they started BASS College fishing. I'd give anything to go back in time and have the chance to do it, instead I played college baseball. I think it is a wonderful opportunity to get yourself into the fishing industry whether that means you're a pro fisherman, salesman for a fishing company, or anything else in between. I think you need to figure out where you want to go to college and get in touch with the club president. Tell them you'll be applying to the school and that you're very interested in joining the team. Join a club in IL. Get a feel for tourny fishing. You may not like it after you do it. Any way you can get a head of the game, is an advantage to you. Fishing is exploding across the US. There are 1000's of other young anglers eager to prove themselves. The further you can stay ahead of everyone else, the better chances of becoming more successful. Stay focused and don't stray from you goals. Good luck to you.
  23. Go to a hobby lobby or craft store and mount them in a shadow box with pics of your old man or a lake house or something significant. Shadow box is a great way to display things like this.
