I dont have any drop shot weights. I just slide on a worm weight , add a bobber stop then tie an overhand knot on the end .

Its been years since I've thrown a Little George or jigging spoons. They work , I catch fish with them but I quit using them.

1989 or 90. I got on a post spawn pattern and caught 24, by my best count , 15 inch keepers on points. The largest 6 was an estimated 30 lbs. Best day I have had. Caught them on a Bomber Prop A. Thats a Long A Minnow with a tail prop.

When I'm fishing and in the most remote and wild looking spot on the water, thats where a jig seems to perform . I know its in my head but those are the places I think jig. Logs that criss cross, washed up against a culvert with weeds hanging down , theres a big fish there and a jig will get it to bite.

There was a notorius cheater in our bass club. Everbody knew it . It was kind of a joke. He even had first place trophys of fake tournaments that he made up.

I use the chartreuse markers extensively. I just color the top half of a soft plastic, no matter the color. It gives the worm a two tone appearance which I like. The fish dont seem to mind. It doesnt turn the bait chartreuse. For instance on a june bug bait, it changes into a two tone turquoise and june bug. Plus theres a garlic smell. Dont know if thats a plus or not but I catch lots of bass with it.

It seems to me that an octopuss hook would stick them better than a circle hook but I'm wrong a lot.

I'm guilty of not fishing tubes enough. Cast for cast they put a lot of fish in the boat.

I dont get lazy and avoid retieing or switching lures because I'm to lazy. I get an idea, I act on it.

My wife had to have a Kuerig . So I buy the house brand cups at Sams. They are cheap and stronger than other brands. I can use the 12 0z setting and get a strong cup of coffee. I have to use the 10 oz setting on every other cup I tried.

My moms 88 and only drives to the pharmacy and stores less than two miles away on residential streets. She handles it well. My dad , hes passed now, had to stop at 80. He went to park the car at the hospital parking lot and ended up in a town twenty miles away. I looked all over for him. He finally made it home . Never did park it in the parking lot.

I fish three small lakes about 200 acres each. I can pretty much fish the entire thing in a day. There will be brush piles, laydowns, pads , algae... an occasional point, rip rap...I put the trolling motor down and just fish. Patterns usually emerge like what lure or lures they are hitting that day , how they are setting up on cover , inside or outside or both. Bass are bass, They fish like a large lake only a lot easier.
