  1. I think BASS had to DQ him . Jumping a boat over dry land like in a James Bond movie is pretty reckless . It looks bad.
  2. I dont even know if they are still made but pond fishing with a spinning reel and bass feeding the old Storm Thin Fin was an absolute killer. That brings back memories .
  3. The only time I peg is in extremely thick cover such as a brush pile made from cedar trees.
  4. Thats what any reasonable person would do .
  5. Caught four post spawn largemouths today, with a floating Bomber Long A . All over 15 inches but nothing over 4 lbs.
  6. I picked the winner three tourneys in a row, inching up the standings.
  7. Good enough for a babies butt, good enough for my face.
  8. How about the pelican Its beak hold more than his belly-can I dont know how the hell-he-can.
  9. If a person can accurately place a lure in good spots, then even on tough days a big bass might come on any cast .
  10. I only fish clear water about once a year . Its always challenging and I' do a lot more experimenting than I do in home waters. Tubes , tubes on spinning gear have been most productive . I like the smaller Fat gizit in a dark brown then run a chartreuse marker down the back for smallies and spots.
  11. I do well roll casting if the lure is the correct weight to match the rod. A little heavy or a little light and accuracy suffers significantly . Overhand casting there is a lot more leniency.
  12. Nah, especially if they are choking it . If the some of fish are missing the lure , bumping it... then some tweaking might be needed.
  13. Its your duty to investigate that spot.
  14. Gatson Walters Christie Zaldain Davis
  15. The smaller tungsten weights I dont feel offer an advantage over lead . I spend my money on 1/4 to 3/8oz. I dont use larger punching weights , there is not that type of grass here.
  16. If I'm out on a point and catching bass with cranks, I'll hop a worm, tube ,ned... after the bass stop hitting the diving bait . Brush pile and lay downs same thing . I rarely fish behind myself going down a bank .
  17. I'm the opposite. Inevitably my spinning reels will unload a whole bunch of line at once . I rarely bird nest a bait caster to the point where I have to get the scissors out and thats usually because I hit something .
  18. I went yesterday following a hugely successful trip a week ago . Had it all planned out . Well, the crappie bite is on and every single spot, 100% had multiple boats sitting on them . I gave the crappie anglers the same courtesy I like to receive and managed only three bass, with a three lber on spinnerbait .
  19. No other fishing options?

Brandon Cobb has the spinnerbait going and putting on a casting clinic.
  21. The final ten havent caught a keeper bass in two hours . This is when Everybody should be paying attention , when the fishing is super tough . Brandon Cobb has the spinnerbait going and putting on a casting clinic.
  22. Even though I have tinnitus, I still hear better than almost everybody I'm around . Especially outdoors. I'm attuned to the real world fairly well .
  23. Water clarity plays a role. In dingy waters where I live different lures are usually selected than in clearer waters. I dont fish spinnerbaits much in the clear Ozark lakes . Rivers , I like lures that move water.
  24. Theres always going to be more than one lure that works in whatever cover or contours being fished . So start with one and adjust from there . I like spinnerbaits a lot, so they get called upon often but another angler may prefer chatterbaits in the same area. Snag resistance plays a big role in what I initially throw..
  25. I have Luke so it appears I selected the winner two derbies in a row .Too bad the rest of my team didnt contribute
