  1. If your using braid, it happens. Micro guides or not.
  2. I hope he stays a bridesmaid. It fits his personality. I just found this on bassmaster.com http://www.bassmaster.com/news/evers-running-out-aoy-clock
  3. I'm more worried about the NFL's rules leaking down into CF. It is what it is and it won't change.
  4. 10lb or 12lb for Medium divers. 15lb for square bills or other shallow runners.
  5. Lol I don't care who wins. KVD is a top notch guy. He was very gracious in 2006 to my son and I. He posed for a picture and engaged in some small talk after we patiently waited for him to get off the phone.
  6. What do you guy think? Is it even possible?
  7. I was using a 7" red shad power worm.
  8. I cut my "hunting" teeth on the bobwhite. They aren't doing so great in our state anymore.
  9. I use Rage almost exclusively. The other exception is when I want a slow fall. I use the Missle D-bomb for the slow fall.
  10. Watching Discovery rite now. I am not a huge fan either. My son is a big fan and I have him tonight. The commercial where they are releasing the seal where the great white jumps up and nabs it is awesome!
  11. Work that top water if it's still overcast!
  12. My son turns 14 next week. I have enjoyed passing to him what my father passed to me. The love of the outdoors. Enjoy every milestone you two will share. I know I have with my son. Congrats to you and your wife.
  13. That's how we do it in our club as well. How I usually gauge my success in a tournament is based on how I do against the other co-anglers. On occasion you'll eventually do well against everyone. Last year I had two 3rd place finishes and big bass with one of those finishes. All I can say is don't give up.
  14. I'd give J Franco's idea a try. Don't peg the weight and see what happens.
  15. Are you fishing against everyone or just your fellow co-anglers?
  16. Welcome. Hopefully the OP can help you. While you or waiting on his response, hop over to the introduction thread and introduce yourself.
  17. Make sure you switch out the stock hooks. I noticed an increase in hookup percentage when I did that. Then back your drag off. If you switched out the hooks the fish will basically hook themselves with trebles. Keep constant pressure. Last but not least, use the net in a tournament! I can not stress that enough.
  18. Don't worry about it. I did a search and I didn't come up with this in the topic search. Just ignore what some people say.
  19. Lake Fork magic shad.
  20. They need all the help they can get anyways. Just kidding. . . . . . Or am I?
  21. Possibly from a culling system.
  22. It does work in open water. As far as walking goes, just keep practicing and you'll get it down.
  23. I eat crappie and catfish on occasion. I always catch and release the bass I catch. I do however don't have a problem with someone that does keep the bass as long as they are legal. I have to say though, we had a 2 day tournament earlier this year with my club. The place where we stayed, the owner had a bucket of bass that he just recently caught. And rite on top was a 5 plus! That was hard to see but he has a rite to filet and eat those fish. I just choose not to.
  24. I cut down a broken rod. I attached and old baitcaster to the reel seat. I then went to BPS and purchased their plug knocker that is super cheap. I threaded the string on the reel and WALLAH! a cheap plug knocker. Or you can purchase an expensive one. The one I made paid for itself the first bait I retrieved.
  25. My vote is yes and yes Mike. IMO there are colors I would have purchased a while back had you offered them in that series. Also I know you probably would have customized some for me. It would make it easier if I didn't have to personally have to contact you other than a quality issue. But with Siebert I doubt I'll ever have to do that! ;-)
