  1. Cuda scissors. 3” and 5”. Less that $10 each. Thank me later. Edit: Catt beat me to it by seconds…haha
  2. No experience with the Regal but I have the Fuego 2500. I have recommended it to family and friends and they all love it. Light, smooth and no issues whatsoever. If you can find a deal on the Exceler like @Fishlegs mentioned, go for it. Also there is a barely used Tatula LT 2500 for $135 on the Flea Market. That’s a good deal for that reel if you don’t mind a 2500 instead of a 3000.
  3. Ever since I changed to the Rizzuto finish, I never had one unravel.
  4. I use 10lb Big Game for both my spinning and baitcasting reels. Never had an issue with either. I use 75 yards of braid and the rest is backing.
  5. Ima Finesse Popper…2.6” and 3/8oz
  6. This. Mend it works wonders especially because I like changing Jackhammer trailers.
  7. Costa has a lens called “Sunrise Mirror”. It is advertised for dusk and dawn. It has 25% light transmission. Their green mirror (copper based) has 10% light transmission for reference. It peaked my interest when it first came out as I usually get to the pond/Lake when it is pitch black, but I don’t want to carry 2 pairs of sunglasses so I stick with the green mirror.
  8. I bought the Structure Gills when they first came out. They do work and they also choke it.

  10. You know it’s overkill when you need a tool just to cinch it down.
  11. Purchased this color tonight at my local BPS. I’m surprised that I never purchased it before.
  12. FG at home…Alberto on the water.
  13. I have and it’s a nightmare. I shipped my reels to get serviced and the frame of one of my Stradic Ci4+ broke somehow while in the box (corner of the box was smashed). All other reels were fine. They wanted proof of purchase and pics of the damaged reel, which I provided. I believe I paid $212 for the Stradic. The part that ticked me off was I paid for insurance and they low balled the crap out of me. They found the lowest price online for the Stradic Ci4+ at the time which was $170 and that’s what they offered. I appealed and lost. So I just I did get some money back but it took months and it was a nightmare.
  14. In for more results…
  15. Couple weeks ago I fished a similar situation in a different state. It was one of the rare occasions I fished off a boat and also that type of cover. Some trees/branches were clearly visible and some were submerged. I ran a spinnerbait and swimjig on the outsides with no luck. Finally caught one using a jig. My friend who fishes there often used a Texas rigged creature bait with 1/4 oz weight pegged. He was dragging it all over the place and was able to catch a few. He also got hung up a lot. As a bank guy, it was a learning experience for me for sure.
  16. Largemouth: Red Eye Shad in Bluegill Smallmouth: Senko in Baby Bass
  17. I have the VMC pliers and love it. Got it on sale for $10. The VMC saddles have holes in them for either wacky or neko rigging. There are 2 compartments to store the saddles too. I think it all depends what type of wacky saddles/rings you are going with.
  18. I recently got an Alphas SV (Thanks to the recommendation by @Bass_Fishing_Socal) and mine absolutely bombs Keitechs on 3/16 and 1/4oz Guppy heads. I have it paired with a ALX Zolo Dream which is a 7’ M/F. I also have couple Tatula SVs and they are very different casting wise to me.
