More woodworking fun
Nice work! Like you, I am fairly new to the hobby but not carpenter type stuff. I always try to challenge myself with the next projects. Sometimes it can be something like size, tool in a new way, technique, etc. My latest was a cherry waterfall table that incorporated some epoxy and butterfly inlays (on bottom of table). I also mill my own lumber with a chainsaw a dry it with a small dehumidifier kiln. It is very rewarding to see the work from full tree to finished item.

2 Stroke Woes
I used that in my blower last time it was used. I only use that in my chainsaw as I felt it would help given that it isn't used as often. I am having second thoughts now that the blower was acting up after using this stuff.

2 Stroke Woes
As I am getting lawn equipment ready to be put away and also pulling blowers out for the leaves, I have come to the realization that I hate gas lawn equipment. Put a new carb on the blower this spring. Used it sporadically the last month due to lack of rain/cutting grass. Went to fire it up for leaf duty and the thing won’t stay running. Had to take the carb off and clean again. Then I went to use my mulching push mower that doesn’t see regular duty but in the fall, I cannot get that thing to start and it has new everything. I am getting really tired of doing this stuff every year. Seams like stabil and gas treatments don't do diddly anymore. Btw, I don't have an ethanol free option close to home for those of you going to recommend it. I told the wife we are calling the neighbor who takes metal scraps to pick it all up. Then we will pay out the nose for cordless stuff. I am done with it.

3d Printing Soft Plastic Molds
I tried this as well but found out pla isn’t the best. After 3 pours the mold started deforming.

Lake Norman Tips?
For me, the north end of the lake and the coves are my best producers. I pitch shakey heads and trigs to selective docks and trees. Mostly those things on points. Never really had much bite on the main lake or flat stretches of cove.

Lake Hartwell - February 2019
I fish the Seneca River during that time of year. Primary points with underspins and lipless cranks will net you a bunch of stripers and largemouths. My go to is a dropshot with large minnows.

The latest sale thread
Check your local Academy Sports stores for clearance items. I bought probably $300 worth of tackle for under $30. Trokar hooks, Strike King jigs galore, tungsten weights, Roboworms, Rat-L-Traps, trailer jack, hitches, etc. Most hooks and weights were $0.50 and under. The pic is only half of what I came home with, including boat trailer stuff.

Relocating to NC, hows the fishing?
I have only been to falls lake. I like it. Catch a bunch of 3-5 pounders every time I go (3 trips so far). Otherwise, I don't fish much around there. I am in Winston and fish Norman, Kerr Scott Reservoir, Salem, Belews, and High Rock.

Double whopper plopper storage
I have searched relentlessly on this bait but nothing mentions storage. The DWP doesn't fit into standard planos without bending the twin arms. How is everyone storing theirs? I would hate to buy a specific box just for my 1 DWP.

Favorite card games
Rummy for me. My buddies tried to ge me to play pitch. I never grasped it but we had loads of fun.

I comfortably carry an Officer 1911.

Power Poles 8 or 10ft
I have a 6' talon on mine and wish I would have doubled that. I got it new for $350, so I guess I can't complain too much. I use it a ton and I primarily flip and pitch near shore anyway.

Square Bill
The XPS BP square bills usually do it for me. I also throw the SK 1.5s as well. I have some Arashis but have yet to land anything on them.

Pike problems!
Just learn to "deal with it". On the Chip Flowage, I often targeted rockier areas and that was good for avoiding them, and finding some good smallies. However, they ain't afraid of slowly stroked pit bosses. Neither are musky like this little guy:

Can anyone recommend a decent 3-bank on-board charger?
I have been pretty happy with my Bass Pro XPS charger.

Thinking about moving south (North Carolina)...help me please!
I just moved this year from Illinois to Western NC. I love it! Fishing, was summed up perfectly in this area by Buzzed Bait. I am still getting used to the warmer summer water temps but overall, I enjoy the fishing here. Some lakes, such as Belews, are power plant lakes that are clear down to 20' at times and can be difficult. Not to mention, Belews can see water temps in the 90s during the summer and stays in the 60s/70s. That is a tricky lake but fun to dissect.

Texas Rig Peg Or Not?
I bead it up too! I feel that it "knot" only protects the knot, but also adds another clack.
