  1. Gross! Same goes for Bluefish, gross...
  2. What do you prefer? Co- poly for me, on crankbaits...
  3. Peyton almost always struggles this time of year, I simply do not see Denver going deep, which is sad for me.. He's my all time favorite NFL Player, and his reign as a top QB may well be over..
  4. Falcon... It's a USA rod. 95% of all my rods are American made. I do believe they are slightly over- rated in power & action, but as long as you know that beforehand it's not a problem, unless you have major ocd..
  5. I use a heavy ***, and don't own the medium, however I don't see where that matters.. The *** has excellent feel with carbon, palms sweetly with a 50 size reel. Tatula is a bit bigger, I would wonder how the rod & reel together would palm? *** has a tiny grip...overall the *** has great feel though.
  6. What line do you intend to use? Braid & carbon lines can really help overcome a rods lack of feel..
  7. What a Trooper! Very generous offer, indeed..
  8. Years ago used a sharpie on the bill to help remember approx. depth I don't now, after a while you learn about bill angles and such.. Most Rapalas have this info in the molds..( diving bill ) I put all squarebills in storage containers, md, dd, etc... Then I have what is called " go fast " containers with a variety of crankbaits... Label makers to mark your storage boxes is also something you may consider...
  9. Well like I posted on page 2? It's starting to be realized, Denver cannot get past New England @ Foxborough, it's not going to happen... Suckbowl?with all things as they stand now... It pains me to say... Seattle Vs New England
  10. Well don't worry too much on the colts, it will all be over for them very soon...
  11. Welds are you including in your data collection the times, temp, moon phases, etc.? (Ambient temps) Should be rather easy to incorporate this into your records, in a few years you may wish you had.
  12. I agree with hogsticker, I like a Fuji macro well enough... A rod should get you years down the road, generally speaking. But micros can't even make it to the brick & mortar places without breaking, inserts popping out, so tiny they cannot even tie them properly. It's a sham, Jury is out... They break more than a macro or standard guideset. If having a custom rod made? Don't skimp on the guides. Consumer market rods? Skip the micros.. Get macros or bigger..

2.09 on Indiana side of Louisville...
  14. LOL! Exactly this, Exactly... I don't doubt the A-rig On its effectiveness, but I would rather throw rocks than it or the blasted giant 10xd..
  15. Hehe, A-jay might be sleeping outside with his wolf dogs...
  16. That's a colorful big ole shad.. They get quite huge in the Ohio River... Congrats, on your PB shad.
  17. Hmm, well lets see, Bluebasser86 has posted more fish pics than any forum user I've seen. All types of fish... A few monsters too... I'd wager that his choice of line whatever & whenever has no impact on his success. That's my humble opinion.
  18. Welcome to & enjoy the forums..
  19. Moray Eel, caught a large one in Puerto Rico, years ago.. Evil eels...
  20. Maybe a bit of price difference in country of manufacturer as well. Calcutta ( Japan ) Cardiff Malaysia ? Can't recall exactly..
  21. A code inspector for Jefferson county ( louisville ) was arrested for doing that very same thing.. Copper pipes & wire... Sting operation got him.. He was loading the "goods" in the County owned work truck. It's been bad out in rural Indiana, since about 2005, progressing to towns and city's.
  22. Yup, on zoom super flukes & on 5" Kalin grubs.. It also soften's them too, afterwards I spray a slight amount of Bang garlic sent and it helps them from becoming re- kinked.. It's worked for me.
  23. Heat shrink wrap ( electrical ) for better durability. I do it for senkos and trick worms... Some guys use "o" rings, some even use tiny zip ties.
