Caught my first peacock bass recently, just under 5 lbs. Pretty cool fish, caught on a Duo Realis Rozante 77sp.

Look into the Quantum smoke S3 . I use two for my cranking setups in the 6.1:1 and one in 7.3:1 for frogging. Oversized spool, great knobs on the 95mm handle, easy to dial in with a strong and smooth drag. One of my favorites in my arsenal.

Congrats to Brady Stanford on a monster fish. This was deemed a mean mouth at a tournament this past fall on my home lake. At 4 lb 4 oz I have quite a way to go to catch Brady lol.

I own the 7’5” mh , excellent rod for the price. Mainly throw 15’ to 20’ diving plugs on it. Could pull double duty with 1/2 to 3/4 spinnerbait and chatter baits. Up to 1 oz ploppers and wakebaits.

I use sniper a lot, and for what you’ll be using it for, definitely recommend it.
