As far as lunch goes, fish sandwich, fish sticks and Swedish fish. It scares the bass when they see what might happen to them.

^^^^This. I'll add don't worry too much about color. I go with green, brown or black. Just get a good variety of weights. As far as trailer, I like chunk trailers. They move good on the initial drop.

I think the "no info" rule is long over due. I've read for over a decade how pros would have uncles/brothers/friends fishing for the pro to find fish. I always considered it unsportsmanlike.

And for the rest of us......

B.A.S.S. could just define the areas that are considered fishable in a tournament to the main lake and eliminate the need for a tunnel hull boat. Seems like it would be easier to do that than limit what kind of boat anglers can fish from. Just saying.

Definitely a fall fish. We catch them on the Susquehanna every once in a while. The grunting is a dead giveaway.

2 times without a fish isn't a slump. That happens routinely. I agree with the comments above that say slow down, fish soft plastics slow and eliminate what was not working the last 2 times out. BTW my personal record for fishing days without a fish is 12.

I don't ice fish so this time of year is bitter-sweet. You know that bass fishing for the year is coming to an end but the fishing is so good. The older I get, the longer the winters seem to be.
