  1. Ohhhhh....snap! That's my style.
  2. Congrats on the big buck. Its been an amazing string of years for deer hunters in PA. Big bucks are being taken across the state.
  3. I know how you feel @Elkins45. Here in PA we got all three and its a real drag on our economy. When the company I work for closes our doors I'll be looking to relocate.
  4. Good for you and have a drink on the crook.
  5. The 55# will be fine if you are fishing small lakes. But if you are gonna be fishing larger lakes you might want to invest in a good, used outboard. The 45# on the front should be fine as well but realize you won't be breaking any speed records with it. Just remember to bring enough batteries to run those TMs for as long as you are gonna be on the water.
  6. Welcome to the forum. We can never have enough northerners like myself. From what I hear, you live near one of the best fisheries in the northeast. Can't wait to see the pictures you post.
  7. Sounds like you will get your truck back @jbsoonerfan but its a shame people do this kind of thing. With any luck the only damage will be a busted window. And hopefully they lock this clown up because this probably isn't his first run-in with the police.
  8. Yea its just that me and the metric system have never seen eye to eye.
  9. First movie I saw with Kirk Douglas in it was Spartacus. Still a great film. Hope he lives to 120.
  10. Looks interesting. But I already have too many lures I don't use. BTW I hate when the website has weight in grams and not ounces.
  11. Leads getting more scarce. I found some old lead gutters thrown out in the middle of the woods. Gave it to my uncle and he gave me half back in sinkers and he made the other half into bullets. Its smart to reuse what lead you can.
  12. My first 2 lures from back in the early 1980's.
  13. Been there and he's not kidding. I drank from noon to midnight and still was considered a rookie.
  14. When I had my jon boat I can't tell you how many times, pulling up to the dock, my rods would get caught under the cleats and then hit the side of the dock. Thankfully, back then I couldn't afford expensive rods. @Mick D that is a smart idea.

That is a great collection of 1911's. I only got 2 but really want more.
  16. I always tell anybody calling me for a donation to send me something in the mail and I'll donate. If they don't do that then no deal.
  17. Guess who was also a "nerd" in high school................ David Hasselhoff....band nerd!
  18. I'd kill one if I caught it. Those fish, in numbers, can do lots of damage to a fishery. And the fact that they are predators means they don't have many ways of naturally limiting their numbers.
  19. Around my area there are a lot of old homes and with old homes come old windows. When people replace their old windows they usually throw out old window weights. I've collected a bunch and used them as anchors. Cheap and easy. If you want something different make your own anchor. Just get a plastic milk jug, some sakrete and a big eye bolt.
  20. Nooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. Grew up in a small town not far from where I live today. Just like others from a small town back in the 70's even into the 80's nobody locked their doors at night, we always had the first day of deer season off from school, and it wasn't uncommon for kids to bring a rifle or shotgun to school in their cars or trucks. Grew up hunting and fishing and basically just running around in the woods. I couldn't imagine living in a big city or even a little one.
  22. Well that was a little early but now I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Tuscarora Lake. It was a big deal here. Lots of people upset that they drew it down so much and at that time of year.
  24. Listen, they complain when you do nothing and when you do something they still complain. It was a no-win situation. I got your back on this one @jbmaine. You were just the one operating the equipment. She was the supervisor. In every union job I ever worked she would be the one getting written up. And the thing about laughing, well, nobody should be punished for having a good sense of humor.
  25. After watching the highlights of that game I gotta agree with ya. Bronco's need a better QB if they want to compete next season.
