I know what you mean about less fishing tackle. But with some much other stuff its well worth it for me. 2 years ago they had a falconry exhibition that was very amazing. They went through the entire process from becoming an apprentice falconer to how they net the birds and right through training and releasing hawks. The hawg tank demos are great. I usually pick up a trick or two just watching the pros.

And please watch out for ice.....in your drink.

The big Great American Outdoor Show is less than a month away.https://www.greatamericanoutdoorshow.org/ Run by the NRA, its a huge show with everything from fishing equipment and boats to Africa safaris and Amazon hunting and fishing trips. Its the one big show I look forward to every year. Anybody else going. Can't wait for the hall of guns. Almost every firearms manufacturer in the world is represented at this show.

Looks like we here in eastern PA might get a reprieve from the cold as well. Tomorrow is suppose to be the first day above freezing since around Christmas time. The local weather forecaster is also predicting 50's by Friday. Not likely though since the closer they get to that day, the lower the predicted temp.

They have Strike King 5" Ocho's in black for $4.69. Not a great deal but a little cheaper than my local WallyWorld.

I got to say the price would stop me in my tracks. You could buy 2 packs of Pit Bosses for less. I'll give them a pass for now.

This is where a good seeing eye dog comes in handy. You can just wipe yourself on it and then take it to the groomers.

I got 2 bbs in my leg from some of the bb gun wars me and my brother use to have. Funny when you go to get an MRI and they ask you if you have any metal in you and you have to explain your childhood to a nurse.

Current temp is 0. That's right, we have no temperature. If this was a body we would be dead. If this was an algebra test we would have failed. If this was a bank statement we would officially be bankrupt. That 0 reminds me of the south end of a north-bound horse. It looks like the faces of the people I see walking around in temps like this....blank. Devoid of any expression.

I pay $120 just for cable tv and its a rip-off. But, unfortunately, in my town the cable company has a monopoly. No other competitors means they can charge what they want.

I used one of those for the first time in a government building in Canada back in the 80's. It was a unique experience. It wasn't the worst water fountain I've ever drank out of but the design should be changed. The horseshoe shaped thing kept falling down and hitting me in the head.

I'm just wondering what Chris Lane was swinging at in the beginning? I'm thinking they were small fish. Not sure if they were sunfish or just small bass?

Terminator (if you got pickerel/pike/musky in the water) 3/8 ounce with a white skirt, willow/Colorado blade combo and a smoke salt and pepper or clear salt and pepper colored 4 inch Kalin's Lunker grub. Terminators are about $2 more than War Eagle spinnerbaits but if you've ever had a pike hit your bait you know the damage they can do. That's why almost all the spinnerbaits I own are Terminators. They are worth the extra 2 bucks.

I sink like a stone. Being the last of six kids I think my parents thought one of my brothers or sisters would teach me. But I've never had a fear of going out in a boat. Matter of fact, I've always loved it. It bewilders my family that I love being on a boat but can't swim. Also I admit to not wearing my PFD but that is because the only one I have is the Styrofoam horse collar type. Mandatory for regulations but impossible to fish while wearing.

Shotgunning coyotes. Nice. Most people I know down here use rifles for predator hunting. Good job!
