  1. A few of these baits could make my lineup... https://www.megabass.co.jp/site/tag/2023-new-products【bass】/
  2. In the winter, I remove all reels. No carpet with 5 pets = a lot of dust!
  3. Search bait= moving bait. A bait that covers water quickly.
  4. Yep...the 10% off sale for the tax deadline would be the next sale...if they do it.
  5. I have 54 rods and 36ish reels. They reside in the spare bedroom which is also my fishin' room. 30 rods on the wall, 16 on a round rack, and 8 in corners. I inherited 2 POS's, but the rest are keepers. Not all higher-end, but most are. I have some lower/midrange gems that I really like the taper on for certain things. I posted this pic recently, but here it is again.
  6. Love'em. I just don't fish them fast, and I'll usually try for a squarebill bite first.
  7. I'd switch to a mono/copoly line, and make sure my rod tip was down and ready to plunge in the water if you feel him coming up.
  8. I agree with big anus above...something about fishing a t-rig on a spinning rod that just works.
  9. I was in there today getting the 4/$12 boxes. Scored 12 3500's and 12 3600's. I hadn't been to a Spring Classic in a few years, and was expecting I'd end up succombing to a few good deals besides the boxes. Nope. Didn't see any pond prowlers filled with cheap baits like in years past. Went to the isle with BPS tender tubes, and didn't see any sale signage, so I asked "Isn't the BPS brand soft baits on sale for the classic?". No....but we have some discontinued colors for $2.97 in a bin. Fffft. Didn't want to pay $6.79 for 10 xps small glass worm rattles either. Left with the boxes only.
  10. Happened to me as well...in 2 different cards.
  11. Yes. I have a pic on my old photobucket account of a crawfish tail that a bass threw up on the boat deck. It was bright red with brown patches. This tournament was on a lake by the Texas border where there is a lot of 'red dirt'. Don't know if he was red all the time, or just in early spring.
  12. Don't know if the worms are the same, but I didn't like the plastic they use on the 'stroker craws'
  13. Haven't tried it, but seems like it will compete with Pline's floroclear. I'd just be careful not to backlash or get any loops/kinks in the spool with those floro coated lines.
  14. Those look nice....dig the reel seat/locknut.
  15. I don't see a new rod series for pheonix on TW. Is this a bfs model in an existing line?
  16. I'd do the house with acreage and pond(s)...I bet everyone that reads this would as well. Oh...can't forget a go-cart track...
  17. I've noticed the Japanese like those pink spinnerbaits. May have to try one.
  18. Looks like a soft plastic duck call. I'll probably skip this one, but I won't be surprised if others have success.
  19. I picked up some incredi-craws during the christmas sale. They look awesome. Also picked up some arkie crawlers that are sure to get bit.... https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Arkie_Salty_Crawlin_Fry/descpage-ARKFRY.html
  20. I've got some Yamamoto 6" grubs I now have plans for
  21. That model has been around a long time. I had it in the Cara T7 series many years ago. I didn't use it a lot, but it would do well with chatterbaits, traps, and fat wobblers like the old bagley b2.
  22. Hazedong sounds like a condition that occurs when I drink too much whiskey.
  23. I'd open a JDM tackle shop that is also a cannabis dispensary. It would have an eatery/lounge that served wood fired NYC pizza. I might just live there ?
  24. I think OSP.made those 'hairy dice' to show bass will literally eat anything. I bet you could make a 'hairy hot wheels car' that would get bit if you drug it slowly on the bottom.
