That bright red accented color would be promising in prespawn ?- Daiwa 2017 Tatula SV TW103XS - What is it Good For?
The '16 Zillion is my jam also...just love the frame on the '16 zillion/'17 Tats versus the new lower and wider frames. I have one geary tat out of 8, but none see heavy use. IMO, geary reels should be a thing of the past!- Post a photo a day!
I had to study it for a minute originally to grasp what was happenin'.- Post a photo a day!
- WD40 as a line conditioner
Grab some instant/quick detail spray from the automotive cleaning supply section of your local walmart. Wouldn't be surprised if Meguiats or Turtle wax was the co-packer for the KVD spray. I'm using some Turtle wax spray detailer I picked up on sale. Works great.- The latest sale thread
Kinda interesting...Digitaka has these trout/panfish travel combos they pieced together on sale. They come with line and a couple of lures + box. https://www.digitaka.com/items/225/294/208/Hana's+Special+Selection+Set- Carolina Rig Thoughts
In cover, straight shanks serm to get hung more than EWG's, but I don't fish c-rigs in cover. I think a lot of anglers like myself get in a rut where we are using the same atyle hook for nearly all plastics. In the 80's, I used Tru-turn hooks for most baits. Then the gammy 'offset round bend' was introduced and I used those for nearly everything. Finally, folks started using EWG's for things other than tubes, and I jumped on board. I need to get out of my EWG rut.- Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
Nice. When Big Bite baits came out in '04 or '05, they debuted at Academy Sports and all baits were $.99 for months before going up to $1.99. They apparently achieved the market share they desired.- The latest sale thread
It's not on sale, but what a bargain! https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Manifold_Deniro_Yugo_Frame_550_Glide_Bait/descpage-MDGBS.html?from=gshop&gclid=Cj0KCQjwj_ajBhCqARIsAA37s0zHRZT7PflfTynbPbVLedYJ2hpguG-MiCFDIpRzSwpCYv5z9lZJu1EaAtdZEALw_wcB- Bait Paste
You might catch a snooki ?. Wakka-wakka-wakka- Trilene XL no more
I think the Trilene photochromic line you speak of was Trimax 2.0. I loved that Trilene Trimax in photochromic back in the day.- The latest sale thread
Zoom 6" black or junebug/chartreuse tail work ?. My llocal walmarts carry them.- Long vs "short" flipping/punching rods
I had a 7-6" flippin' stick, and added a lightweight 7-11" rig this winter. Something I never hear mentioned is how your bait is affected, as in how the rod moves the bait. When tight to cover, I want to drop my bait in the petfect spot and if not bit on the initial fall, I want to pop my bait straight up...not move it towards me like a shorter rod will do.- favorite plastic company
Yum has replaced Zoom as my favorite soft plastics brand. Why? Price. However, I still buy several brands. Ready for Yum to knock off the Z craw.- Post a photo a day!

Loomis superstore order from black friday. I ordered 7, 12, and 18lb in clear, but I finally told them to just send me the 'invisible'. Had to get a 6lb and 10lb also. The 6lb samuri will be the thinnest line I've every used for bass fishing at .0083". Bait-wrx order... TW order...sad to see the inexpensive, yet effective bagley shakey heads go on clearance.- Strike king shallow water hybrid hunter
I've caught quite a few fish on the yozuri version thats been around for years.- Can anyone add to this ?
'A friend' said he gets bit while picking out backlashes.- Post a photo a day!
- Shakey Heads and Finesse from a Boat
You need to add the slider worm to your finesse arsenal. It's a 'moving bait finesse worm' that glides through the strike zone.- All soft plastics outing- what are you rigging up
Slider FTW...it is a post spawn dynamo.- G. Loomis IMX Pro 884c TWFR
The imx-pro's are nice sticks....you'll be impressed. That frog rod will double as a t-rig plastics rod.- Buying tackle that turned out to be a failure for you…
The Zoom french fry was a hot c-rig bait in the early 90's....caught me many fish. - RAD Crankbaits
