Frogs get 65 braid Super Spooks get 30 braid to an 18 inch 14 lb mono leader. Most everything else is on 14 Super Natural except poppers which are 10/12 mono.

I purchased three of the 3700 size. At 7.19 each it was an easy call. These are really nice boxes.

Four years ago I would have said Dobyns and left it at that. The fact is I’ve found some really great models that are gems from NFC Edge, Megabass and alpha Angler.

I see this thread exposing the realities of aging and yes, never trust a fart. What is more saddening is having hearing loss so you wouldn’t hear it anyway. You young folks will see the day when your evening cocktail contains Metamucil. I use Old Spice and I had a child tell me I smelled like his grandma. I refused to admit my pickup was gold and referred to it as metallic buckskin. I had to put on long pants at a family picnic photo because of the glare coming off my shins. I can’t tell the difference from my scars and my stretch marks. Getting old isn’t for sissy’s.

I don’t love it or hate the wind. I have no control over it. In some bodies of water wind can kill you. I’m not a fan of slick calm unless there is current. I’m convinced a broken surface is a benefit. Wind impacts my fishing by blowing me off my spot and having to relocate is just a reality. Current moves you off so being one trolling motor at all times can wear me out. Who would have thought my feet would betray me. I just haven’t been able to justify the expense for spot lock……..yet.

I have needed a new driveway and street approach for years. Well it’s done: 866 square feet. I had the section in front of the garage door smooth troweled so I can manhandle the boat in the opening. I have two inches on each side for clearance. The tear out was hard, grading was easy. The pour went exceptionally well. I had three finishers that nailed it. Added some stamp and borders. I’m too old for this.

5 and 6 inch Magdrafts and 1/2 oz jigs. I’ll be trying it for Super Spooks in a few weeks.

It’s clearly a form of mental illness. I went to a therapist about it. He asked me to bring an itemized list of everything. After he reviewed the ream of paper he flatly stated it was too late to help me.

In all the years I’ve followed A-Jay’s lists, I can’t figure out the absence of a tube and Hula Grub. The brown fish in the PNW eat them like Pringles.
