  1. They were part of a felony conspiricy that resulted in a death. Mandatory murder charge. Good to get this p.o.s. out of the gene pool. yeah, second degree murder is when someone is killed in the commission of another crime. In this case, the crime was conspiracy to commit armed robbery. The girls were part of the conspiracy so the death in the process is also attributable to them.
  2. grams? what, are we in france?!?!
  3. Thank goodness. This has been a really mild summer compared to past summers. No 100 degree days yet, and only a few in the mid 90s. Yeah, I've been enjoying it, although it has been warming up in the past week or two, especially with the humidity. Anyway, I would suggest some wading for those of you that find the dog days of summer to be too hot. If you are able to wade (no alligators or snakes or bum knees, etc...) wading can be a great way to fish and keep cool. Of course you have to scale the tackle down to what you can carry but it can be very refreshing.

wait, thunderstorms are supposed to cool things off? Normally they just make the air feel like swamp balls around here. This summer has been pretty cool for where I am in VA but it has definitely been getting hotter in the past week around here as well.
  5. what about the ones that are remakes of old movies? lol ;D
  6. x2. If you can afford it, go for the Avid. You won't regret it. And btw, the Citica E is a very fine reel.
  7. Don't forget about the Pflueger President. I know it's not in your list but you might want to include it in your consideration. A lot of guys (including me) think it is the best spinning reel at that price point.
  8. I hated all the hand twirling and weird speaking. It looked and sounded like his jaw was wired shut. Too Keith Richards-ey for my likings.
  9. I've never heard of smallmouth in brackish water. I'd be interested to read any responses as well.
  10. You should come back during a hot summer! This summer has been very mild relatively speaking. Ahh, gotcha. When you said you came down in June I assumed you meant this June.
  11. i would have never thought of that.
  12. Whaaaat?? You're crazy! That movie was so cool! Way worse than the original. while closer to the book, I didn't care for it at all. Probably would have been great had it been an original but seriously, noone can compare to gene wilder, simply amazing. As for Alice In Wonderland, looks fantastic, can't wait to see it. I just showed my wife the trailer this weekend. Depp looks like a scary I'm a dork though. Two great points. Gene Wilder was awesome in the original. Secondly, Johnny Depp is just weird. Ever since Edward Scissorhands it is strange to see him in pale makeup (including his Willy Wonka character) and I absolutely hated his character in all the Pirates of the Carribean movies.
  13. In your price range I would look at the Berkley Lightning Rod or another house brand rod from Gander Mountain, Bass Pro, or Cabelas. BTW, just so you know, it would take about 5 of those fish to weigh 15lbs. Try to get a digital scale. They only cost like $20 and they will help you get much better at judging how much fish weigh.

  16. Did you pay new retail price? Is the reel working as expected from a new reel? How is the handle different from what you expected and how does it change the reel performance? Buying it unseen... buyer beware (and lower your expectations to a real-world level). A seller, per Ebay's rules should always describe the item he/she is selling 100%! If misleading a buyer about what you are selling is okay to you than i would not want to do any kind of business with you either! Nope, it's not OK... I don't shop Ebay, only brick & morter where I can see the product and the seller! For those that do, don't cry if you get scammed. Why not? There are perfectly legitimate expectations about buying online. If you take the right precautions and use common sense, you have nothing to worry about.
  17. I honestly couldn't say. Either a jig with GYCB flappin hog trailers or senkos.
  18. I hope they don't ruin it like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory...

congratulations wayne, have fun in Jamaica.
  20. The handles are the same, correct? Then it could very well work exactly the same as a reel with it's own original handle.
  21. yeah, ask him to refund your money or send you a legit one. Or just leave negative feedback and tell eBay

Cinnamon Life is probably my favorite cereal. If only they sold it in a bigger box. That little box only fills like 3-4 bowls for me...
  23. wow. Just wow. but what if you just wanted a soda or some french fries?
  24. I rarely need to control the spool with my thumb since I got my dual brake Patriarchs. I go fishing to fish, not to pamper a temperamental bait casting reel. x2. I can typically cast my Citica 201E without touching the spool. BTW, I just ordered the REVO STX. If I don't like it, I'll put it up for sale. Don't bother, if you don't like it PM me and i will take it! LATERZ If you've got the money and want a left hand high speed then ok.
