Man, Muddy, that would have been awesome to see both of those guys play. I wish I had been born back when music was still good. On a side note, I saw on this place's calender that Dr. John is going to play there later this year. I'm not sure, but I think you have mentioned his name before. Is that something I should go see?

I know there are some blues fans here so I figured I'd let you guys know about an awesome show I saw this weekend. I got to see the James Cotton Blues Band at a little blues/jazz venue in Wash. DC on Saturday night. It was AWESOME! James can hardly talk so he had others sing for him, but he sure can still play the harmonica. For those of you that don't know, James Cotton is a legendary blues harmonica player that played with Muddy Waters' band for 15 years. The band consisted of two guitars, a bass guitar, drums, and James. The band played a few songs to start the show by themselves and they were amazing! Then James came in and blew the house down. It was great. He invited a girl on stage to play saxophone. She was 14 years old and she really rocked the jazz saxophone for two songs; she was great. You guys might not think this as cool as I do, but as a huge blues fan and an aspiring blues harmonica player, it was an awesome opportunity to see a great blues band and a LEGENDARY blues harmonica player (one of the few still alive).

Corn or bread are probably your best bet. There are some other threads in this forum about carp, try searching them out. I think a big part of fishing for carp sometimes is to just be patient. I would take a couple of rods and soak a few lines at a time to increase your chances of getting bit.

Well, it's difficult to vote because I'm not in my home district. That means I can register in my home district or my district here at school. If I register for my home district, I would have to vote absentee. If I register at school, I have to vote here. The problem with that is I don't have a car so it's difficult to vote while at school if I register to vote at school. This year I'll be trying absentee to make it easier. As for your questions: I have not voted since I started college because I stupidly registered to vote here and then didn't have a car to get to the polling place (and it rained on election day so I wasn't going to walk) My school DOES have class on election day. If class were canceled, it would make it easier to vote. I can't say I would for sure, but that would make it easier for me to make it to the booth. Although I'll probably be absentee voting in the future so it really wouldn't make a difference.

There have been a few REALLY good episodes, so I am not sure if I'll declare it the best one, but, it sure was a freaking awesome episode. I love how Tiffy totally owned that other lady. The great part about how they show both the guys at work and their wives on the homefront is that both groups kick butt. The guys totally destroy terrorists and their ladies totally destroy the trouble they face (they've had a bunch of episodes where the women tell off a bad guy or take action to totally embarrass and own them)

For me, senkos just aren't worth the money when you can get alternatives that will catch the same fish for half the price or less. I don't buy the whole argument that senko's are so much better quality than alternative brands. I just don't see how baits with such similar characteristics could be so different.

Burley -- many if not most of the pictures are hosted on the site. Every thread with a paperclip next to it means a image was attached to a post, putting the image on the site's server. Catt -- That sounds expensive...

That's strange...Is your son's laptop connected to a network other than your own? Otherwise it should be the same speed as your computer because they are accessing through the same connection. Anyway, large pictures take up bandwidth as well. I don't think there are enough of them posted to really take up enough bandwidth to do anything. The best bet is probably to upgrade servers.

Hate to say it, but QUIT PROCRASTINATING!!!! It will make things far easier in the future. I usually sit down at the beginning of the week and plan out when everything is due and then set times to complete them. As for your current situation, get some work done, then go get a bag of coffee to brew to help you the rest of the night because it sounds like you're going to be working a while. Also, you might want to unplug your internet if you don't need it--it'll help keep you focused.

How you "intend" to use it can't be regulated as easily as "what it can do." There is no way to ensure the regulation of a rule between what a person COULD do and what they INTEND to do. That's like saying a kid who has alcohol isn't as guilty as a kid who is drunk. ( At least from an enforcement standpoint). You could say, "oh well he isn't drinking it, that's ok." But you have no assurance that he won't drink it sometime. That's why it's easier (and makes more sense) to say they are both guilty of underage possession... Ugh, I wish I could shoot this thread and make it die.

I do this a lot, especially when I'm trying to establish a pattern. I'll just tie on a snap and then try spinnerbaits, cranks, and jerks to see which one works best. Switching between these baits is much faster and easier with the snap.
