  1. I don't know about your mom and pop tackle shops, but BPS has a WAY bigger selection than any mom and pops around me...I'd rather go to a store where I can get what I want for a good price than go to one that doesn't have what I want and charges more for stuff...
  2. If I'm using a thin worm like a 4" power worm, i'll leave the hook imbedded in the plastic, if I'm using a thicker worm like a senko, i usually expose the hook and if i'm in cover, i put the hook through and put the tip of the point back into the plastic.

I've only used one, but I didn't much care for it. It didn't run very well and the hooks got tangled on each other almost every other cast.
  4. the first one was ok, the second one was amazing, but he should still get yelled at for running backwards so far....that was just dumb. and there is no chance that Barry Sanders is "maybe" more famous, he is WAY more famous.
  5. that's a cool little project man. Make sure to take some pictures when it gets bigger. I'd love to see what one of those looks like swimming around in a tank. As for sending it to someone to release....good luck, that sounds very, very expensive and not worth it. Hell, just give it to someone when it gets to big so they can eat it, i hear they are good eatin'
  6. texas rigged 4 inch zoom lizard (watermelon) ~4lbs.
  7. it says on the back of the tube to pull the skirt strands tight and let them snap back to place after you've applied megastrike. Apparently this is supposed to make the strands not stick together but I have never put it on a skirt so I couldn't tell you whether or not it actually works.
  8. what do you mean by "aquatic waters"? :-?
  9. I dunno. It's almost impossible to predict rivalry games such as this one. In these types of games, there is an unnamed factor that no one can predict and can be more important than who has a better offense or defense. Both teams are excellent, but I think I'm gonna pick Michigan because I think they have more/better offensive weapons in Mike Hart and their WRs.
  10. I've been wondering about this as well recently.
  11. Al Lindner endorses them because he gets paid to do so. Notice that his boat and clothing are covered by the same logos of the lures he endorses? Or that his show is sponsored by the same products he endorses? It's because he is sponsored by them.
  12. is this "Lake X" one of those that I was made privy to?
  13. let me give you this advice. I am now 19 years old and a sophomore in college. Up until my junior year of high school, I didn't drink. Then I started to drink and go to parties. It was awesome for a while, but then in the summer after graduation, a party I was at got busted. I was charged with underage possession of alcohol. The case ended up being dismissed but I had to go to ASAP (basically a drugs and alcohol class) for 20 hours and I had to do 30 hours of community service. I also had to stay out of trouble and now I don't have my "first offense" defense if I ever get in trouble again. This was especially bad because I may end up going into a career field where I would need security clearance and that is hard to get with a criminal record. What I learned was that the trouble I got in and the worry and cost and time I had to spend to get out of trouble was not worth it. Sure the parties were fun and all, and drinking had its benefits (it got easier to talk to people and I "fit in" more. But the bottom line is this: you can still go to parties and have fun with your friends who are drinking. I'm pretty sure that in most places you can't get in trouble if you are at a party as long as you haven't been drinking. Don't feel the need to drink, you don't have to. Parties can be fun without being drunk, and if people make fun of you for not drinking, just think how good it will feel if those jerks get in trouble and you don't. Also, everyone appreciates a sober person to give rides from the party.
  14. berkley has good grubs, and the powerworms always catch fish, but Zoom has a lot more colors and styles of plastics. I don't think that you can say one is better than the other, each have their positives.

    Listerine. and time.
  18. did you get worker's comp for your accident?
  19. It's called "Bass Pro Shop." Of course they sell fishing stuf year round. It would be way to hard to unstock half of the shelves in the store and restock with other stuff for winter and then restock half the shelves in the store again with fishing stuff in the spring.
  20. hmmm, did you catch any on the doritos? How did the Cool Ranch work? I usually prefer Nacho Cheddar
  21. excedrin is tylenol and aspirin, so as far as I know it won't damage your stomach like ibuprofen.
