I disagree with the broomstick. Lots of people (including myself) prefer long 7'6"+ rods with a soft tip that will launch a frog really far and also give a little on a hard, no stretch, high drag hookset along with a quick transition into a strong backbone.

I'm rootin' for the Saints. But win or lose, don't expect instant respect. The Seahawks had a very dominate year en route to the Super Bowl, and had 5 consecutive divisional championships. But that only served to put their name in the headlines, but that's it. Nobody gave them credit. Sadly, that team has now plummeted to the bottom of the NFL just a few short years after their SB appearance. Let's hope that doesn't happen to the Saints. The Bills went to four consecutive Super Bowls. The Eagles went to four consecutive NFC title games, making one Super Bowl. Want respect? Show up in a big game. Or don't allow the Steelers to steal the game. or win a division that is actually challenging. ;D

you should hear all the calls my Dad gets. He has given with a few different agencies and he has AB- which is super rare. They call him, send him emails, mail reminders, etc...virtually every day.

it looks like something you would use instead of a spoon or blade but I'm not going to pay $15 for a lure that has a high probability of getting snagged. I would love to use them but it's not worth it to me.

this is one of two hawks that come by our bird feeders every once and a while. One of them buzzed me one time, couldn't have been more than 10 ft from my head.

I agree with Burley. I'd rather do it all at once, lay out my snow gear to dry, and be done with it. I hate putting all my snow gear on and taking it off.

my neighbor was out using a snow blower while I was shoveling my sidewalk and a path along the driveway. I'm pretty sure we finished at the same time and he only covered a little more ground than I did.

It's still snowing a bit but it should stop soon. So far we have between 26-28 inches.

I'm not sure it was a bass. The guy was using a fly rod and obviously the video is from Europe. Could have been some other species. Regardless, awesome video.
