I believe the Mayflies do have an affect on the bass biting. There have been times during a heavy hatch that I can't buy a fish, and when I do, they have a mouth full of bugs. I'm not saying that Mayflies are an excuse for all skunks, however there times when they do have an adverse affect on the bass bite. Just my opinion, Falcon

So far this Spring, I've had very good success with the Luck E Strike Bass Magic 4.5" swimbaits, in Green Shiner. I've also used Strike King Shadalicious, in AYU. The smallies don't seem to be too interested in them, however, the LMB have been mauling them. I'm using a 7/0, 3/8 oz Stanley Frog/Swimbait Hook. Using a slow to medium, steady retrieve, has worked the best for me. Good luck, Falcon

I agree with Robert. Save up your money and get the Boga Grip. I've purchased many scales, and they all were accurate for a while, then they go haywire. Falcon

I've been getting the smallies on spinnerbaits, lipless crankbaits, and jerkbaits. Falcon

Unfortunately it's true, according to Associated Press. Very sad, I always enjoyed the "Kung Fu" series, and many of his other films. Falcon

My wife was telling me of an article she read stating that Detroit has had a large group of foreign artists move in, converting some homes into art studios. There also have been a number of movie production companies set-up shop in Detroit. All stating that the lower property costs, lower tax base, and lower crime rates were the reasons they chose Detroit. Falcon

After my wife, kids, and grandkids, fishing is my passion. Recently. all my grandkids have been VERY interested in fishing with Papa. When they come to visit, they all run to get the PFD's and rods and reels. In the winter, I like to do some small wood working projects. Just recently, I made my granddaughters bunk beds for their dolls. I've also made some crankbaits. Falcon

For me, losing swimbait fish is a way of life. Probably one out of five comes unbuttoned. I added a #4 treble to the main hook and that improved my rate quite a bit. Falcon

About two weeks ago I was fishing with my new Balsa "B". I noticed the paint on the back was peeling off. I E-mailed Bomber and they said to mail it back, and they would replace it. The UPS man just dropped off a box with TWO new Balsa "B"s, and an apology note. Just thought I would let everybody know there still are companies that know how to take care of their customers. Falcon
