  1. I was born in Arkansas, so I am an Arkansas fan, but I grew up in Louisiana, so I am an LSU fan, but I've lived in Oklahoma for over twenty years, so I am an OU, OSU and TU fan. Is it any wonder why people ask me why I'm schisophrenic?
  2. My late MIL was one of the most wonderful women I have ever met. She was a much finer woman than my own mother. I called her Mom, and I miss her to this day.
  3. FishinTN the only "planned" events will be in the evenings. At this point, the only planned event is a Wednesday evening group dinner. Most of us will get together in the early evenings to sip a few suds, brag, and tell lies. During the day we will all go our separate, merry ways. This is NOT a tournament. It's just a bunch of guys getting together from all over the U.S. at one of the best bass lakes in the country. I can say from experience that a good time is always had by all.
  4. I thought taxidermy was a rash that cab drivers get.
  5. Happy Birthday boss!
  6. Gentlemen, instead of starting a new thread why don't you participate in the thread several posts below this one, i.e. http://www.bassresou...nts-2012-goals/
  7. Tom, you are one of the four. Thanks.
  8. Hey folks, it's time to crap or get off the pot. It's early yet, but I have received very few (read four (4) here) Registration Forms.
  9. I got worried about Catt and tried to call his cell. Got the message that the number was no longer in service. That worried me even more, so I called his wife at work. Catt is fine. His computer crashed and he has yet to get around to replacing it. If he HAS replaced it, it would appear that he is no longer interested in participating in these forums. He will be greatly missed.
  10. I agree with Wayne. Quality units from both companies. I run a Lowrance HDS-8 at the console and love it, but I would have no problem if Santa brought me a 'bird to replace the LMS-28-C on the bow.
  11. Welcome, and Merry Christmas!
  12. Welcome, and Merry Christmas!
  13. BAH! HUMBUG! Sorry, couldn't resist it. To Glenn, Keri, the Mods, and all of our members, I wish you all the joy that Christmas brings, and the hope for peace and well being to all in the new year.
  14. Nope. The kid in that avatar is cute. RW was born ugly, grew up ugly, and is still ugly.
  15. I think Atlantic Mapping offers an excellent map of Kentucky Lake and others. Go to atlanticmapping.com.
  16. Happy Birthday Tommy!
  17. Bob, form received. Thanks.
  18. Sorry guys. I was born without an anus, so there was no need to lower the toilet seat. Big Willy is busy with his other chores, so every word that comes out of my mouth is obviously, crap.
  19. I'm going to have to disagree somewhat with JFrancho. I have an iPilot on my boat. The signal from the key fob is instantaneous. I can easily navigate stick-ups, docks and lay-downs. The only drawback that I can see is that you can't fish and steer at the same time. You have to take one hand off the rod to use the fob. The unit has a foot pedal the comes with it, but I have to confess I've never used it. I keep the fob attached to a sling that hangs from my neck. It takes only a second or two to grab the fob and redirect the boat. In my opinion, if you are in tight quarters, you are busy trying to steer the boat, instead of trying to cast a line, so that pretty much debunks the cable steer option. That said, I know that there are many, many folks out there who have been using cable steer for years. The foot pedal is almost an extension of their bodies. They can steer their boats without so much as a thought. I include you folks out of this discussion.
  20. Jeremy, there really is no drop dead date. The problem is that the hotel will release the block we have on the rooms thirty days before the event.
  21. I had the great good fortune of raising two girls. I confess I loved it, but I was able to establish the fact that there was a man in the house very early. I refused to lower the toilet seat. The girls were a joy until they reached puberty, then they became some sort of EVIL incarnation of what they once were. Teen-age hormones destroy the rational mind. We got through it, despite the fact that I was a very stern old-school Dad. They hated me for a while. Thankfully, my bride (now of forty-two years) was always able to mitigate the situation. What can I say? Between the two of us, we got those girls through the difficult years. My girls are now blessing me with grandchildren. To this day, I still refuse to lower the toilet seat.
  22. A few pics of the bow of the boat would be of great help.
  23. Form received. Thanks.
  24. Sir, you are correct. I never asked her. You ask her. Let us know what she had to say.
  25. Almost the best party. Mrs. Ghoti will allow no dancing girls.
