Emotion stealth pro anyone got one
I can't comment on Emotion Stealth since I don't have one, but the seat is stadium type with 3 setup, that would be good and comfortable enough. It seems to have plenty of room in the tank well. 6 set of yak attack rail that is a plus, even tho I think the one in the middle is useless(any attachment would be in the way of paddle). It should be a good starter just like my Perception Pescador Pro 100. I got mine for 619 a few months back and like it so far. It is stable enough but not for standing and fishing.

It's been a long time.
I'm gonna have to practice more on hookset on kayak, especially on those moving bait. I even make sure to do a second light hookset after reel the fish in. About buzzbait, I intended to try sub surface fishing from reading one of choporoz's posted. It was just for fun and I didn't get any of top water bite.

Who fishes "Ned Rig" baits on heavy jigs
I don't fish with Ned rig a lot but I do have all three size, 1/6 1/10 and 1/15. Also I just ordered 3/32 shroom head with siebert to add more. For 1/15 I'd use TRD, finesse Shad and 1/2 zinkerz. For 1/10 I'd use for big TRD Hula stickz and Zman scent Paddlerz. Last 1/6 I'd use beat up whole zinkerz.

It's been a long time.
Its been a very long time (or feel like it) from the last time I got to hold the fish. Finally beat the skunk today. Went back to spot where I lost all the fish yesterday. First 15 mins, my first fish on buzzbait came undone again?. I almost give up. What wrong with me?? Anyway since I just started so I continued fishing and finally caught twos more, one on underwater buzzbait (thanks to @Choporoz's wife) and second on white chatterbait.

Top water buzz bait?
Please give a big thanks and big hug to your wife for me?. Today I tried buzzbait instead of WP. I got no bite on top water and remembered reading your post so I let my buzzbait sink and start reeling in with a little bit of jerk. I caught 2 fish this way even tho the first one came undone. Finally beat the skunk today.

Loop Knot for Braid
Rapala loop knot should do. Might be a little bit harder to tie with braid than mono and just make sure your loop is not too big otherwise front hook might get tangle in there. http://www.***.com/fishing_knots/rapala-knot I hardly use loop knot anymore since most of the lures that required loop knot already come with split ring otherwise I'd use clip instead.

Any other riders out there?
I used to ride a lot, that I put avg of 10,000 miles on my bike per year. I ride with a few small clubs every weekend when I lived in OC before I married. My wife bought me this new bikes after I gone without a bike for a few years. I guess she saw how sad I was when I saw a group of riders on FWY. Bought this brand new in 2009 now I have more than 70,000 miles and counting.

May be you should send to DVL and have him estimate, if it worth to fix then fix it otherwise have him keep it for spares. if the spool of line if not even may be something more than handle.- What's your fluke technique?
Fluke is good, you can fish it fast slow or dead sticking it, you can fish in shallow or deep, you can fish like top water between water Column or bottom contact. For me I fish my Fluke just like others, sometime fast jerking on top of surface (mostly early morning or cold months) as the sun get higher I would try between water column, let Fluke sink and count 1 to whatever and start twitching. If I don't get any bite I would let them sink all the way and pop it like Senko. For double Fluke rig, I would use Super Fluke Jr., but I have not fish that way for awhile too lazy to try two swivels. For drop shot I use everything from Super Salt Fluke down to Tiny Fluke depend on what bite and how deep of water. For trailer, normally I use Fluke Swimimg Jr for chatterbait. Most of my Flukes are white pearl or sexy Shad color but I found that in my home lake I got more bites on Green Pumpkin. I got a few types of Fluke style bait like big bite bait, Barkley Shad, havoc jerk Shad, caffeine shad even Z-man jerk Shad but alway come back to Fluke, can't beat the price, color and durable of Zoom super salt Fluke. I plan to try Yamamoto D-Shad soon since sometime I want it to sink to bottom faster. I always use 3/0 owner twist lock hook for Fluke no weight.- Key whopper plopper 110 features
- Kayak/Canoe Or Jon Boat
Save some budget for good PDF and paddle and also kayak cart if you plan to drag kayak for a long distance (diy is cheaper) might look in your area for good quality in use condition. now you have to decide you want sit on top or sit inside. They offer different feel, how stable and how easy to fish in. Next would be size of kayak, 10' 12' or giant 14' everything has trade off, the smaller one will be less stable but light enough to carry if you have to. I don't think you should plan on standing and fishing on budget kayak unless you got something big like 12-14'. The kayak is nice open you to new way to fish and you can get to location where bank fisherman can't go without breaking the bank.- dink night
Totally agreed. I have no love lately, got only skunk for the past 3-4 trips out, especially today which everything went wrong. I kept casting into trees so spent most of the time un-snag it. Finally got a bite on my chatterbait right in the middle of trees and my 30lbs braided line broke. Moved to different tree again this time Senko line broke from hook set. All of these becuz I was too lazy to re-tie after so many snags. I can trade these days for dinks any time.- What is the best inexpensive utility rod to have with with you that is pretty well all around?
- Kayak/Canoe Or Jon Boat
Yes you would need to decide first which is best suit you. Do you fish alone? How deep of water you plan to fish? Are you ready to transport Jon boat with trailer? How far do you plan to fish from where you launch? Do you need engine/trolling motor or paddle is enough? And how much your budget? i have both Jon boat and kayak. I normally will take kayak out 2-3 times a week since it is easier and faster for me to get in the water(I only have time to fish a few hours each trip). I will take Jon boat out if I plan to fish all day or if I have company. The body of water is also factor, if I have to paddle 20-30 mins to where to fish, I'd rather take Jon boat out since I have both trolling motor and 15hp engine. Jon boat pro: more room, more comfortable, you don't get too tired, can stay in water longer. con: take more time to prep launch and load, not very good in windy condition, storage and more expensive but not by much (still cheaper if you compare to those peddled drive)- Core 100mg vs Daiwa sv105
I don't have core but have chronarch 50e and curado 70. I like SV 105 for lite lure 1/4 or less and mostly when pitching/skipping. I like curado 70 for long cast 3/8 up (to me 70 cast The furthest. I use 50e for everything bomb cast, pitching skipping 1 oz lure (WP110) you name it. The 50e might not get the most distance nor the easiest to skip but it will do anything you ask for. I like the size of sv105 which is as comfort as my 50e.- B.A.S.S. Times - New Curado Ad
Totally agree, I love my 50e more than 70, even though I get more distance on 70. I also like mag brake system on daiwa SV105 where if I cast short let say 5 feet, I can adjust dial down a little bit and hit right at target, can't do that on curado 70 - Broke (2 Ways)
