  5. We have insane amounts of bass tournaments but not many for crappie , I had heard of them but never actually seen footage
  6. I thought maybe some of you Minnetonka guys might enjoy this
  7. Those can be pretty good conditions ! Some years the TN river is high muddy and swift for several consecutive months, like 2019, 2020, and 2021. The pickwick bass elite series event last year was a good example I think Steve was spinnerbaiting 5 lb smallies right there . I’ve seen him do the same thing on the Alabama river with 5 lb spotted bass
  8. Same jig head/lure all day, that’s impressive!!! Congrats on a fun day
  9. Lucky you! Bass and walleye are way cooler than trout anyhow
  10. Hmmm, I think there’s a few places in the Farragut/Lenoir city area you could fish. I think the piers along northshore drive or maybe even the old bridge across the mouth of turkey creek if you like vertical fishing (or night fishing). Above and below dams can have decent access but you’ve got to scramble on rocks sometimes. There is some decent access on topside road in little river and George’s creek, especially for crappie. Over toward melton hill might be pretty good this time of year, could see some large fishing cruising the shallows in the clear water.
  11. It’s all just water! How you feeling buddy?
  12. Yes, forgot about that. Also works!
  13. I’ve done best with them on a screw lock shakey head but Texas rig works well too. So would weightless I would imagine
  14. They should make them taste bad, that’d do it
  15. I seek help spiritually when I’m in a rut
  16. Electric knives are good for some fish, bluegill ain’t one of those fish
  17. Love the plastic owl. I see those at every job I go to, they don’t work but sell like hotcakes
  18. Haha! There is one (1) natural lake In the entire state of Tennessee. It is called reelfoot lake and was formed by massive earthquake in the 1800s that caused the Mississippi River to flow backwards. I want to say I have heard that it gets shallower and shallower every day so it probably won’t exist for another couple hundred years
  19. My neighbor down at the lake got a little perturbed at me for stacking some logs next to my dock. I just moved them to the other side where she wouldn’t see them haha
  20. Every time this question comes up, I get in trouble for saying rivers and lakes are one and the same in my area
