gloom and doom...end of times prepping
I caught a few of those at the beach when I was a kid. We put them in a bucket and left it in the hotel room overnight thinking our moms would cook them for us the next day. Well, as you might imagine, they died and stunk up the whole room by morning

What's the best tip/action for getting the most accuracy in a rod?
Just asking. Here’s what I think of as roll cast. Only works with super flemsy fly rods https://howtoflyfish.orvis.com/video-lessons/chapter-one-the-basics-of-fly-fishing/238-the-roll-cast

S.S. Amoeba has been sunk!
I would call fabrication shops in your area and ask who welds aluminum then tell your story and see if they thinks it’s worth it. I bought a used aluminum canoe for $300 about 12 years ago and it’s in great shape.

Someone taught me that when I was a little kid, I can’t recall who but I fish and eat white bass more than anything else and it’s been good to me. For whatever reason it just paralyzes them. Grab just forward of the razor part! Haha. My buddies that try to lip them always end up dropping them once they thrash
