  1. I don’t expect LSU to get in any trouble, nobody ever seems to (cough except Bruce pearl cough)
  2. all dirt cheap and easily replaced. In the boat and ready to go bassin on a budget at a moments notice
  3. LSU just hands it out in front of Tv cameras and makes “strong $&) offers” to high school kids on FBI wire taps
  4. That’s the good thing about cage traps, if you catch a non target you just let them go. The only problem is it’s darn near impossible to get a fox coyote bobcat or mink to walk into a cage. I know an old timer that I usually refer those type jobs to
  5. I don’t necessarily think of it as challenge vs enjoyment, rather challenge + enjoyment. I also like to challenge myself to stay out of the grocery store by eating fish that I catch. You can learn a lot from people that are meat fishing, they typically won’t fish where they might get skunked
  6. I love B-Latt's channel! I wouldn't say the fish is secondary to anything. To borrow a quote from Zona, the fish itself was, is, and always will be the star of the show. No fish= no show
  7. Yes. Even with a nuisance permit, relocating a fox is a no no
  8. Plenty of pelts are still worth money but you will lose a lot of money trying to make it. I know one guy that sells skunk essence for $10/oz . I’m usually trapping around people’s yards or roofs so we mainly use cages and release any animals that we legally can.
  9. I was considering starting a trapping thread since it's my job, maybe a daily catch pics/story thread? Let me know what y'all think, I've already caught a skunk today and scared a squirrel out of hole in someone's siding. No kidding this squirrel is living in the corner of a bedroom of a vacant house on the carpet, here's a picture of the nest. And an attic fan that a squirrel had been getting in though. We build and install covers for these after the squirrels and raccoons have been trapped
  10. I got one Sunday, 47 degree water . Then a largemouth moments later with somewhat red eyes
  11. Congrats @813basstard! That’s a beast
  12. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.livescience.com/amp/62349-poop-train-biosolids.html it seems my recollection of the details were a little off but close
  13. It was a part of the 24 hr news cycle a year or two ago. People in TN of course loved the story, I might be able to find a link
  14. I’ve accidentally left mine turned on a few times. There was a glow in the carport and my trails to the house were Marked along the Roads
  15. There was a story a few years back about this train that takes human waste from overpopulated New York to some wide open area down south and dumps it. A weird way to make a dollar but I digress. The train broke down near some town in Alabama and the residents couldn’t stomach the smell! (Couldn’t have happened to a better state in the US haha)
  16. EPA or state level environmental agency, ours is called TDEC
