I’m going to change it up a bit here and talk about frogs. There have been times especially this time of year that a bass will blow up on my frog and miss. I throw it right back and they strike again. They’ve missed four times before I caught them. Usually, they’ll miss only once. Summertime, they’ll sometimes swat at it again but I’ll usually follow a miss up with a jig or soft plastic.

I sure didn’t. Baker seems to have found his team.

@bowhunter63 he’s a known hothead and that’s no excuse at all. I’m surprised his suspension wasn’t longer. I wouldn’t go as far as saying the entire team is dirty because of one player but that’s just me.

We’ve been seeing quite a few little bucks on the trail camera this year. That is, until this guy showed himself. Hopefully, he doesn’t stay nocturnal which they seem to do the past couple years.

@whitwolf our freshman team hasn’t won a game since September of 2023 and Thursday they scored their first points in four weeks. It’s tough watching those kids give it their all and come up short every game.

AI can be your friend or it can be your enemy. It can make posers seem real and it can make the posers seem legit. The quick to the point response are real and the long extended response are AI. Keep that in mind.

After 15 innings they’re going to be gassed against the Jays. I don’t watch baseball very often anymore but I stayed up and watched it which was easy for you west coasters. I’m dragging my hind quarters a bit this morning. 🥱

Nice work @A-Jay. It was an absolutely beautiful day! I had frost this morning but once that sun got high enough, it was perfect.

So sorry for your loss. The only bad thing about a dog is they don’t live long enough. We had to let our Great Pyrenees go almost two months ago to the day and that wound is still fresh. While at work Tuesday, I saw a Great Pyrenees and had the chance to give her some loving. It took everything I had to keep from breaking down. They all hold a special place in your soul and some take a piece of that soul with them when they go.

Yup, first frost for us tonight too. Mid 60’s and a lite breeze felt really good today!

This is what keeps me sane when it’s a slow day deer wise in the woods.

@TnRiver46 the Bills played a sloppy game and deserved to lose, Diggs played out of his mind and let everyone in the stadium know he did too, three turnovers and 95 yds of penalties is tough to overcome, and the refs missed a pretty obvious third down PI late in the game.

@Eric 26 I recognize that stadium. 6poundbass went to a couple football camps there. GVSU has a pretty good football program. There’s no better site than seeing old glory flying high.

Six weeks into the season and six wins! He’s now dressing for the varsity game too. Since he starts JV he’s limited to one quarter for varsity. Two weeks ago he did come in for a drive in the final minutes of the varsity game. What a whirlwind season, one game with his freshman team, gets the starting job with JV, and now sees some action as varsity QB.

@Mobasser ironic you brought him up because I thought about him too. @gim that thread is the most viewed and I don’t think it’s even close. There’s probably been a lot of Toledo Bend tournaments won because of his thread.

Yes, the higher frequency is supposed to give you a better image. I’m not familiar with Lowrance so maybe someone with your transducer could help you get started with some settings they use to help dial it in, or check YouTube. It’s possible the transducer is bad too (pictures would help) but I’d try adjusting your settings first.
