  1. My most successful have been 5” Cabelas’s swimbait, and a Fluke
  2. Ali Express, search for Dark Sleeper. there are a few different companies that sell them. Hunt house sells the best so far. $3ea
  3. Tatula 7’1” ml rod (amazing rod) w/ Tatula lt 3000 new Zodias ml w/ stradic ci 4+ both with 10lb pp to 8 or 10lb Seaguar Loomis 852 JWR with Curado 70 mgl w/20 lb 832 12lb fc leader
  4. I’ve been buying an Ali Express knockoff that is just as great and $3 a pop. I catch tons of bass and an occasional yellow perch on them. Color doesn’t seem to matter much. Fish do tend to take them deep.
  5. Another vote for the Curado 70 MGL. I have two, and they are fantastic reels. Perfect for what you want, and a great entry in Shimano world.
  6. It was at a public lake near Chicago. Both were prespawn 4 days apart. I also got a couple 5 and a 6. Never caught so many big bass before.
  7. Two biggest lmb were on a spinner bait 7.2, and chatterbait 7lbs even.
  8. You’re right on track. Get Loomis 852 JWR and you have a magical setup. It’s very versatile. I have two setups that I use. It's great for all light stuff, jigs, t rigs, senkos, poppers. The Curado 70 MGL is a hell of a reel.
  9. Looking for a 90mm handle for an old Bamtam Mag plus, anyone know where to get one that fits?
  10. Get the GLX and save some money.
  11. Tackle Warehouse has a 30% off Dobyns right now.
  12. 6lb leader with a MH fast Daiwa rod? Seems very light.
  13. I have a MC Corzza ultra light spinning rod. It's the best UL I've ever used. Very well made with nice components. The best thing about it is the extra fast action, it makes it very versatile.
  14. That's the most dramatic promo I've even seen.
  15. My weightless Senko rod for 5" and 6" baits is a 852c JWR. Is there a reason you only want a spinning setup? It has a great tip and plenty of backbone for deep water.
  16. HEllo What type of presentations would you use this rod for? Line size?
  17. I never use straight fluoro. Do you find it wears out from casting, and catching fish?
  18. Every time out I have three Loomis 843 MBR setups.
  19. My prefered ned rig line set up is 8lb power pro yellow, to 8lb Seaguar Red Label /InvizX leader. 8lb Seaguar is the same diameter as 6lb Trilene XL. It's a great combo of lines.
  20. The Boss swimjig head comes through grass nicely.
  21. My 2020 Tatula SV tws came completely dry of grease, and there was the smallest amount of oil in the bearings. After adding both it's very quiet and smooth.
  22. 702 is perfect for 1/4oz Bitsy bug jigs, they have a medium gauge hook, and light weed guard.
