Sierra 734 is a great rod as well... and cheaper. But if you want it also for bottom contact, the XP gets the nod. Sierra is a little softer and excels at moving baits. Can also open water/sparse cover frog fish.

Yeah that's the one thing that really sucks with fluorocarbon. If you blow a reel up so bad that it's beyond hope, that's a costly mistake.

This is quite annoying. Mercer and the guys talking over the angler constantly. Also, we don't need to SEE the guys in the studio. Hearing them is just fine. Having them in split-screen is so unnecessary.
